Just found this video. I was crewed in one of these for over 6 years in Germany, we had a wee play on your Prairie in the 80's at the Suffield training area when I was the driver. Then onto Desert Storm where I was the Gunner/Radio Operator. They were extremely quick wee beasties. Couldn't believe you had an RC version, awesome 👍😀🏴

Ive had an M26 Pershing for a few years now and I love it but lately Ive been working converting all the Esc to Arduino control DC Motor controllers. Nice rig! Hope you have as much fun Tanking as I do!
The remote is for programming, or most often the case customizing, the Clark control board that powers a large chunk of the 1/16 scale combat tank market. It's aftermarket and I really like them, I run 12 in different vehicles. R/c tank combat is growing and there is a bit of a learning curve, this isn't a simple 3D chopper... ;) Lots of info on Rc Universe' tank forum. Our club here in Ontario, Canada is the CanAm Rc Tank Club, look us up :D

I did my track ed vehicle in one of these, they are light tank, aka CVRT - Combat Vehicle Recognisance Tracked. There were at the time 2 low hull profiles, Scimitar & Scorpion & 5 high hull profiles, Striker, Spartan, Samaritan, Sultan & Samson. They used a Jaguar 4.2 litre engine with lowered compression ratio. British made :)
