He has no organs, so similar to groot from guardians of the galaxy or lopez from red vs blue, he can pretty much just survive as a head because his body is entirely empty and contains nothing vital to his survival. So his entire body can be described as a hand or tool with his head being the only vital body part.
It can probably be based on the alien he’s fighting and which suitable best alien it is for it besides choosing the most powerful one. As it may be a powerful fit for who he currently fighting
I’m not a mechanic, but my grandfather is. What gray matter did in that scene, if I’m not mistaken, is disconnect the power steering. That is why the car all of a sudden went out of control. The power steering is what makes it that way you don’t have to turn the wheel five times just to make a full turn
Eh, I imagine it being a chaotic mess of wrappings getting tangled up with no real blows being exchanged. Plus the wrong alien transformation was so anticlimactic it was hilarious.
I can understand in-universe why the omnitrix wouldn't wanna pick that. The mummy is just way more used to its powers so Ben picking a fresh form with zero experience wouldn't give it much of an advantage. Theory: the Omnitrix’s AI will time out Ben a little early or late, depending on the situation. Think about all the times Ben Timed out Early, when the fight was done. I think that’s because the watch was being strategic. “The fight’s over and no one will notice Ben emerging from the steam as opposed to the other people in the water monster, so I should time out now” would be a good example. Or, like the times it would be fatal to time out and the time-out alarm goes really slow. Like when Stink Fly was flying Kevin in his debut, or when the soldiers were cornering Diamond Head after imposter Kevin ran off. That’s the Omnitrix giving him extra time to get somewhere safe, and I think that’s intentional on the watch’s part.
i mean we did see the omnitrix´s AI flare to life in UAF mainly to scan the Andromeda 5 so its possible the recalibration sort of advanced the AI to match Ben´s age cause here the watch sure doesnt say shit but once calibrated to feet grown up Ben hey kept talking alot once that came up
Neat idea. I personally subscribe to the idea that Ben can just like, will the time out to wait a bit longer than normal in times where it timing out would be bad. He can't keep it going forever, obviously, but he can buy himself those extra few seconds to put himself in a better situation.

I was always a fan of Diamondhead because of his design and how Ben uses all of his abilities so creatively, between body morphing, projectiles, and mobility he seems like one of Ben’s most versatile aliens
I bet if they shared the same universe as DC, XLR8's species would be the only ones who could naturally access the speed force, but it would be to them the equivalent to a Saiyan going Super Saiyan.
The entire argument in monster weather could’ve been solved by Ben saying: “Hey, Grandpa, I’m gonna go XLR8, and run and grab a new iPod thing while they’re on sale, enjoy your concert” And it would’ve been relatively in line with Ben’s character at this point in the show.
Yeah it’s like air resistance, his entire skin and body is made up of paper like skin and wraps held together by telekinesis and not actual body functions because he has no organs and it’s all in the head, so when he jumps it just takes him a while to land but he still has the same force, like relative time.
At this point, I'm headcanoning that the purple-ish lightning seen in "Game Over" and "Monster Weather" were both attempts by Dr. Viktor to delay the Tennysons and buy them more time to finish their plans.

@@infinitypercival5958 Yep, he really did. There was so many plumbers tech that could’ve come in handy if Max simply told his kids his secret. @@mrvaporiz Final frontier for humanity. We humans have only been able to travel into space for about 60 years and only robotic vehicles have flown farther than the Moon. It was only until the development of more powerful, reliable and efficient jet engines that air planes became accessible to us peasants.
I wonder why they NEVER questioned how their grandpa didnt seem so fazed by anything alien before he revealed to them that he was a plumber. Like how did they not think about it? I thought about it when I was watching it as a kid, why didnt they?
For some reason, I always thought the farm people were extended family that were doing max a favor. I've also noticed that Xlr8 is shaped a lot like a xenomorph from aliens.
As an avid Fourarms fan, even so much to force my friends to watch the series so that we can roleplay fourarms with two people (one behind another, arms around the front guy), I'm not even mad XLR8 is the most liked alien. I mean look at him he's so alien looking and cool! and has one of the best superpowers.

When you were talking about Ben's accuracy and precision with his aliens, I felt the exact same way whilst watching UA episode 'Basic Training'. Messing up once or twice I get, as he's not used to the gun, but seeing as he uses projectiles quite a bit as an alien, it's odd that he isn't able to adapt so quickly. Also, he gets mad and transforms into Swampfire which makes no sense at all in my opinion 'Monster Weather' is quite a bad episode. Even moreso when you realize that Benwolf could've been used at the very end. The whole plot should've revolved around Ben realizing that he's wrong mid-way through, with a concerned Gwen helping him understand I can even see the XLR8 scene being in there as the logic he could've used is "I can just go XLR8. That way, Grandpa still gets to enjoy the concert and I get to have my mp3." Misunderstanding between them ensues, and by the end, Ben apologizes in full
@@philkirshenbaum8867 I meant from a story writing perspective. They already had Benwolf created since that episode was before 'Monster Weather' in the production order I just say it cause Benwolf deserved another appearance. The entire Monster Trio did

I like that in Omniverse it is explained why all these Alien Monsters have similar energy signatures, as they are all from the same solar system, and not by pure coincidence
This was already revealed way before omniverse, it was already revealed during the ben 10 pop up edition

The entire argument in monster weather could’ve been solved by Ben saying:
“Hey, Grandpa, I’m gonna go XLR8, and run and grab a new iPod thing while they’re on sale, enjoy your concert”
And it would’ve been relatively in line with Ben’s character at this point in the show.
But that would be logical, and conflict must be forced.
I think the reason "the mummy" can levitate is because he's so light it takes a while for him to be pulled down by gravity
And probably the Corodium.
Edit 1: possibly

@@dragonsswarm1987 corrodium isn’t inside him the first time he levitates.
Yeah it’s like air resistance, his entire skin and body is made up of paper like skin and wraps held together by telekinesis and not actual body functions because he has no organs and it’s all in the head, so when he jumps it just takes him a while to land but he still has the same force, like relative time.

For those wondering: The chant Ben says at the baseball game is a variation of the chant "We want a pitcher, not a belly-itcher." 41:27 I freaking laughed at this part so hard. I love how frustrated he is with Max, and I agree with him, Grandpa Max had literally no reason to keep his plumber career a secret from them. Once, the Omnitrix clamped down onto Ben’s arm, Max should’ve opened up about his past immediately or at the very least, revealed his secret before Vilgax showed up
Did he really need to at times though? And I'm pretty sure he just didn't want his past to come between his grandkids like it did with their parents.
@@infinitypercival5958 Yep, he really did. There was so many plumbers tech that could’ve come in handy if Max simply told his kids his secret. Plus, hiding his secret is pretty much impossible now ever since Ben gained the Omnitrix, his past was about to be brought up sooner or later, so it was better just to tell Ben and Gwen his secret right away

Also, he gets mad and transforms into Swampfire which makes no sense at all in my opinion
'Monster Weather' is quite a bad episode. Even moreso when you realize that Benwolf could've been used at the very end. The whole plot should've revolved around Ben realizing that he's wrong mid-way through, with a concerned Gwen helping him understand
I can even see the XLR8 scene being in there as the logic he could've used is "I can just go XLR8. That way, Grandpa still gets to enjoy the concert and I get to have my mp3." Misunderstanding between them ensues, and by the end, Ben apologizes in full
You're right he could've used Benwolf.
I mean Ben was already Four Arms when Max and Gwen came up with the plan so there was no time to switch.
