Paul Allen it's a draft technique of a braid for hitch horses to keep mane out of the way for the equipment. But can also be for other breeds as well 😊

How long is your horse's mane? Looks about 4-6 inches.
How long should I make my ribbon/cloth?
I have never a mane roll, but I believe they are 12 feet long and 1.5 inches wide.
Where do you bye your ribbons at and what are they made out of?
