@@BrandonTan91 first shiny legendary PERIOD, actually. I don’t raid seriously like you do so this is the biggest surprise I got at that time. I was low key expecting it to be a regular Kyogre but not a shiny.

Day 4 of begging, that Brandon should do some streams on yt. I mean by that that Brandon should do as challenges while streaming. For example doing 20 raids while streaming.

Interesting to see raiding connection was an issue for you as well. I did an in person raid and got kicked out of the raid right before the groudon went down. I wasn't able to rejoin, collect rewards, or encounter the groudon to catch. I contacted support for the game and was compensated with a remote pass... so I guess that means it's on me to get a new group of people together to raid, put the time in, and risk having issues again. My husband got a remote invite from a friend in Japan (we're in the USA) and once the kyogre was down to zero health the timer kept running and he kept attacking till the time ran out and the game said the boss was not defeated even though it should have been in negative health by then... Niantic support's response to his complaint was to tell him to relobby... which of course was impossible.

How come his kyogre primal level up so quick, it just released about 1 week right?
why not?if you gather enough primal energy you can keep primal reverting it paying the cost cuz he didnt wait for the rest period and therefore he pushed it all the way to max primal level

@@airbornekhan5422 so basically when you primal revert/Mega evolve a pokemon after the evolution wears off you enter smtg called the rest period
if you wait for this rest period to be over which is typically 7days or so you can mega/primal revert your pokemon at no cost
however you can still choose to mega/primal your pokemon again during the rest period but it will come at the cost of the respective primal/Mega energy

I got 1 shiny groudon (my first shiny legend), 3 shiny Latios, shiny water castform and shiny Absol. Im so happy.
First groudon raid I did yesterday I got a shiny. First Kyogre raid I did yesterday…I also got a shiny, and the Kyogre was a 96% shiny
Anyone know of a good Pokemon Go discord sever? The local players in my city in Texas are typically very private and it would be awesome to have access to a larger personnel of trainer friends 😀.

Groudon was easy, kyogre was super hard and lost twice and didn’t even bother doing anymore

Now for the day 2 grind.. Lets gooooo
Blizzard Primal Kyogre will wipe a team of 4 even with lv 50 top counters. That thing renders any Grass as useless. And it'll 1HKO anything else, save for Magnezone. It'll be the one that you guys can try a TRIO on.
Blizzard quad has been done with Shadow Magnezone only... kinda curious if this is gonna change in the future. Well, at least in rain trio should happen eventually

Dude your amazing I couldn't even do a single raid yesterday I'm not strong enough and every time I tried to join people they left the only thing I got all event was a latias and that took me 3 hrs
People are cowards usually when they back out the boss could’ve been defeated but they just see the high cp and think you need ten people or something

The connection wasnt just you. Every time the habitat would turn over it would crash my game and I had to restart the app like 4 or 5 times to get back in. Before the Hoenn Tour I wasnt experiencing any connectivity issues whatsoever.

One of the things making kyogre harder is everyone running mega swampert to boost both kyogre and groudon.
true i can't remember the last time I used a mega solely to get damage boost and not for XL candies
It's my least favorite part of mega's since if you want the most candy and such then you can almost never battle with megas. It was nice to use mega swampert to actually battle Primal Groudon.
@@Rockjay288 yeah, swampert was shredding primal groudon, until it hits you with solar beam. But hydro-pump kyogre's more of a menace anyway.

Primal Groundon is much easier as there's alot of op water types which 2x super effective on groundon
Go try a weatherboosted Blizzard Kyogre with 4... had 9/10 today, no fun really...
Kyogre is so hard to defeat, yesterday i lost 4 primal kyogre raids, caught a hundo on the fifth one tho, totally worth it

Did about 8 primal raids and caught one Groudon!!! Oneeeeee!! And it was shiny, so guaranteed. Has Niantic changed catch rates? I’ve been hitting consistent Great throws and a few Excellents. They just taken my money.

Lol rip, I got a lot of them. It’s all RNG and actually having good throws. Groudon is way easier to catch than Kyogre, plus there are the other factors playing into their catching, like what type medal you got, etc.

Brandon, I thought about the remote raid passes. What if the 6 a day limit for remote passes is a subscription per month where you get 6 remote passes a day for $9.99 USD. Sounded interesting to me. Thoughts?
6 passes a day would be 180 passes a month for 10 bucks. No way they'd do that.
