- New 2022 Lexus NX: Designed with the Future of Luxury in mind.
With a lower center of gravity and stronger stance, the all-new NX embodies powerful design, intuitive innovation and boundless utility. The most notable update is the introduction of Lexus Interface, the integrated multimedia and digital support on thestandard 9.8-inch and optional 14-inch touchscreen displays. It offers available over the air updates, wireless charging and untethered smart phone connection to the user's unique profile. This is paired with the introduction of standard Lexus Safety System 3.0, plus Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Additionally, Safe Exit Assist and the innovative Digital Latch system are designed to make exiting the vehicle safely even more effortless.
Driver-Focussed Cockpit Design
The NX’s driver-centered cockpit has been meticulously designed with a focus on connecting the driver to the vehicle. The 7-inch Multi-InformationDisplay (MID) and optional 10-inch Head Up Display (HUD), both NX firsts, are designed to convey vehicle information, alerts and updates, within the driver’s line of sight. The MID’s single meter layout is made more visible by a high -definition screen. Most driving-related functions are concentrated on the steering wheel to allow for intuitive operation while keeping the driver’s eyes on the road.
Hybrid Combines Performance and Fuel Economy
With the all-new Lexus NX 350h, which will be the volume model in Canada, Guests can have both great performance and fuel economy. With a combined 239 horsepower (a 20 percent increase over the current model) and impressive manufacturer estimated combinedfuel consumption of 6.5 L/100 km (a decrease of 1.0 L/100 km over the current model), the NX hybrid brings a powerful performance that illustrates the brand’s hybrid leadership. Guests will also notice the quicker 0-100 km/h time of 7.4 seconds, which is 1.7 seconds faster compared to the previous generation.
The Lexus Hybrid Drive system pairs the D4-S fuel injection 2.5-litre 4-cylinder gasoline engine with two high-torque electric drive motor-generators for strong acceleration and passing performance. Instead of transfer gears and a driveshaft to the rear wheels, the AWD system employs a second, independent electric motor to drive the rear wheels when it detects it is needed to help maintain optimal traction.
Performance and Range with the NX 450h Plug-In Hybrid
In a first for Lexus, the all-new plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) system brings Lexus Electrified to life through performance and the signature quietness of a PHEV model. The NX 450h has a manufacturer-estimated 58 km range on electric power only, made possible by the newly developed, high-capacity lithium ion battery. The system achieves the EV output equivalent to a 2.0-litre engine. When combined with the newly developed hybrid transaxle, a 2.5-litre inline 4-cylinder engine delivers on the performance luxury Guests are seeking with an estimated 6.2 second 0-100 km/h time.
The all-new NX will come equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. for additional peace of mind in certain scenarios including:
◾ Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist - helps support collision avoidance within the lane by providing gentle braking and steering operation.
◾ Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection/Braking - designed to provide a warning and automatic braking if the driver turns left in front of an oncoming vehicle.
◾ Right/Left Turn Oncoming Pedestrian Detection/Braking - designed to provide a warning and automatic braking if a driver turns left or right in front of an oncoming pedestrian or cyclist.
◾ Oncoming Vehicle Detection added to the Pre-Collision System - designed to alert the driver, and, potentially activate automatic emergency braking to help avoid a frontal collision.
◾ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management - maintains a cruising speed in alignment with the flow of traffic while managing speed on curves.

I really like this new one for the 2022 . The Lexus NX this one it really looking better than the first one from 2016. Interior design the jobs looks well done ✅ I give I A10 come in future I love 💕 to see the steps up a little bit more in body to make it look more fater just the M X6 I love it 💓🇯🇲🇯🇲 it's a rock I would love to set in this own this one too in life the colors it's beautiful for a design just come back to more on more luxuryera for your costumer's

I am 63 years old hisetate what to buy, this new nx 300h or the es 300h 2022 (here in israel we dont have the 350 h only 300h). .i am wonders if the isulation is the same or may be its beter in the es. And if the driving comfortable and Road behavior and chassis stability. Wher is better in nx or ex...pleas your advice what to buy better for me.?

@@jrock-hk7rm - I've listened to cds the past 30 years, even on high end sound systems. There is very little difference between that and today's digital files or satellite radios. Especially when talking about a car's stereo, it's virtually no noticeable difference. Every auto maker has ditched the CD player because no one listens to them anymore. I have a huge box in my closet I can sell you if you want them. The NX was just so far behind in it's interior refresh, it still had one.
@@jeffs6090 , yeah soo sad, that car manufacturers ditch CD 💿 and DVD 📀 drives, best sound quality ever. But the handling of Discs during traffic, is pretty unsafe, therefore I prefer listening to music 🎼 on USB sticks, or burnt mp3-CDs.

I currently own a 2020 NX I really appreciate the changes made by there was one aspect Lexus did not really improve and it’s more with the interior, It’s still very crammed and the seats for the sport model are narrow and not comfortable. This one of the reasons why when my lease is up I will be turning in the vehicle and considering something else. My niece has the RAV4 is that interior is much better design than the NX.

country by the end of the year but I also had the feeling that the seats especially at the back might be cramped up.
@@riziboo I found them wide and comfortable, both for the knees and for the height available for tall people. over one meter and seventy.
My drive cluster doesn't look like that and my LED lights aren't nearly that strong on the interior.

Is it me, or does the interior design look a little clunky? Like a throw back to Nissan Pulsar or something. I’m seeing lots of knobs and square buttons, it’s looking more utilitarian than sports/luxury to me. The large screen is nice, but the start button is high and behind the steering wheel, it’s all a little bit “Aztec” inside. I’ve owned 3 Lexuses and LOVE the company, the cars are AMAZING (and fun) to drive with little to no maintenance, but I think I will be switching to another car because for me, this is going backwards. The exterior is great, even the origami front grill is appealing, but all that styling is not being pulled into the interior. It looks like a sculpture on the outside, and then the interior is like a Hummer.
