She (Jennifer Beals) is _still_ *gorgeous* in 2023. I have never seen someone age less than her. She looks maybe ten years older than she did forty years ago. Incredible.

Although when we listen to any of the cuts of the soundtrack we think of Jennifer Beals, the truth is that she did not dance to any of the songs. All the dances, except the final number, were performed by the French actress Marine Jahan.
I thought she had three dance doubles and did NONE of the dancing. This movie has always inspired me...perfecting my dance skills now!

The soundtrack was great but the story line of this movie is a joke lol
i wouldn't call it a joke, more like "as stereotypical and kitschy as it could be". And there is honestly nothing wrong with that. It is exactly what you would expect from that kind of movie.
