Most of these we still have 15 out of 20: Chicken in the Biscuit , Tang, Jiffy Pop Popcorn , Easy Cheese, Ruffles, Frosted Flakes, Dunkaroos - Back from the dead Hawaiian Punch, Bugles, Ring Pops, Starbursts, Kellogg's Raisin Bran, Shake 'n Bake, Cool Whip, Swanson TV Dinner.
I ambled past chicken in a biscuit in the grocery store the other day… I love that thing… And I had a TV dinner earlier today. It was good. It was a hungry man fried chicken one delicious.
Oh yeah… And I have some of that easy cheese stuff up in my pantry right this minute… And earlier this month I had one of those spray things of Cool Whip… I don’t know how you can get something back that has never been lost but here we are
Ok, so this is produced by a Canadian group, Retrontario, according to the copyright on the title frame. Maybe then these items are no longer in Canada? Most seem to still be available at Wal-Mart.
My mom brought Tang home and I hated it! Coke was popular on Saturday night. Cheerios were better than oatmeal. My sister made fudge but we usually ate it before it set! Peanuts and chips were popular at our house. Peanut butter (Jif) and jelly was our lunch.
Chip flavor choices were not a thing until the mid 80s. Until then you needed dip. I remember as a small kid in the 70s coices were planters cheese balls plain corn chips plain doritos at some point sour cream and onion flavor ships came along then bbq but ot was 70s or 80s not the 60s
I loved Chicken ‘n a Biscuit, Bugles, and Pizza Spins. I never understood why they disappeared and I would definitely love to have them back. I did not like Hawaiian punch at all. And what the idea of putting Dunkaroos in this video since you said it was created in the 1990s, not the 1960s? Oh, and I liked Funions too. I only saw pink and white snowballs, and I thought they looked a lot prettier than they tasted. I like them anyway. Salt water taffy was much better than starburst candy, and it was also larger. I haven’t been able to find real saltwater taffy in years. The only TV dinner our family liked was the Mexican dinner with enchiladas, two tiny tacos, and refried beans.
You can still get the chicken in a biscuit… I walked past it just the other day when we were doing grocery shopping… I don’t know what they put in there, but it must be like crack or something because that chicken and a biscuit is Hella good
I know they still make a lot of these items. I actually really like Tang and they did something to its flavor lately so it doesn’t taste the same. I hate when brands do that. I just ate some Ruffles earlier, All Dressed flavor. finally in the US
Im done with your dumb clickbait titles. 19 of these products are still sold today. The only product not around is chiffon margarine. Which is actually still available in the Caribbean. Maybe you cant find these items under the rock you live under, but we have no problem buying them. Also is your video is about the 60's, how about not using examples from the 70's & 80's for 98% of your video. 🙄🤔
Hey, my guy, you do understand that most of these things on your list are still available… Make this make sense how can you get something back that has never been lost in the first place? Easy cheese, chicken in a biscuit, tang, Cool Whip… I am will pass all of these things all the time when I do grocery shopping… And now I’m tempted to go by, some of this stuff… Maybe, by acting like this is all gone by in the past… Is your way to push nostalgia… You don’t have to do that… You could just say look here the snacks from the 60s or 70s or whatever decade that people love… And point out the ones that are still available and the ones that are not instead of just lumping everything in the ones that are not category Seems a little disingenuous to me how this is presented
What the hell is mar - gar=reen, I always thought it was margarine. And why are you showing Dunk- a- Roo's a 1990s snack in a video about supposedly 1960s snacks that are no longer here, even though most of them still are here in 2024.
I cannot stand Fruit Stripe gum. If you love this flavor and want it in ice cream form, and if you can find it, Blue Bell makes I Heart Cereal ice cream. This flavor is most definitely NOT one with "fruity pebbles" type cereal. I threw it away.
I am not sure but I think about half of these snacks are still around today.
They are. You can still find them on the store shelves!
I still drink Tang. I'm 67, and have drank it all my life. "Easy Cheese" is now Cheese Whiz, and widely available.
But the fact that they are still around, would NOT allow this guy to run off his mouth, would it?
Yeah I don't know why they are acting like these no longer exist.
@@cementer7665calm down. the guy is making a sweet video about the past. I’m young and I didn’t know a few of those food existed.

Jiffy Pop? I haven’t seen that in years. I loved it in the ‘60s.
Jiffy Pop can be found, but it doesn't always work as advertised.

Some Twinkies from the 60’s are still around--just as fresh as ever!!!!!😃

And available on Amazon.
@@lancerevell5979yes, and I'd rather buy from Jeff Bezos that wally world... any day.
Sorry but this video drove me crazy that he couldn’t say culinary and margarine correctly. Cool seeing the old commercials.
I agree.
Yep
Chicken in a biscuit is still around i just had some with easy cheese😊
I love your commentaries! You'd be a good used car salesman..lol
Ruffles are still around today
So is Frosted Flakes and I swear I saw Tang in the store too.
Tang is still around.
And the chicken crackers.
@@saskatoongirl3163they had orange mango Tang in the 80s. We loved it, I wonder if it's still around.
I remember this

I always thought Tang tasted nasty!
What about Fiddle Faddle?
I have seen those sold at Dollar Trees

A think quite of these were decades after the 60's
I use to love Hawaiian Punch but because of it's high sugar content I can no longer drink it
How Many Of These American Foods Are Bad For You? And Banned In Other Countries Because Of All Their Bad Ingredients??? 👀 🤔
They need to get rid of all that processed garbage we eat.
No one's forcing you to buy it.
Please pronounce margarine correctly.

You are correct.
I just reported the video to TH-cam as spam/misleading. More people should to this, because content farms are swamping this platform with garbage.

That is so true. Birth is nothing more than death begun.
Okay, so that was depressing, LOL. But yeah.
