What function does a pharmacy use? Dont think you covered it. I believe it allows you to lock from inside and key wont work? I have to replace one so any info would be appreciated.

So on the entry style, will turning the inside handle ALWAYS unlock the outside handle, or does it depend on the position of the plunger? I have a gate that needs the outside to be keyed but the inside to always be able to exit without unlocking the outside. My guess is storeroom is what I need, but there may not be many options for more finished residential looking hardware.

Another great video Uriah.. This is just the kind of stuff I was looking for when I got started.. Great info for new techs as well as customers... I'm sure this will help some people out ! Like Paul said I think I got a A on this lesson.. Only question.. On the 2nd lock you showed.. The entry function with store room.. What would the Manufacture call that? In the catalogue or website, would they still just call it an entry function, or would they call it Entry/store room? Again, thanks for doing these !

All the entry function grade 2 levers that we’ve ever bought has had that toggle feature on their entry levers. Dexter, PLS, Cal Royal, LSDA, and others have that as far as I can see. Not sure what that feature is called....

Question.. I rekeyed a Schlage to have a master key. My master key will turn counter clockwise nice and smooth, but wont turn clockwise AT ALL. The operation keys work PERFECT. What could be the issue? Thanks

I would say that if its snagging then trying bringing all the pins up one pin on a .300 increment pin kit. If you think about how a key is cut it is always sligthly deeper on one side of the key than the other, because when it hits the blade its just a hair deeper on the side closest to the blade when cutting the key. This is the best suggestion I could give without having the cylinder in my hand. - Uriah
