You're so thoughtful of your cat, nice extra touches that you make to take care of him :) Just stumbled upon your channel today and I really like your content!
I put a screen door on the bathroom, opening out. That usually keeps them from falling into the tub or commode, or shredding the toilet paper. Also, having a feline land in your lap when your clothing is at half mast is painful.
Usually the best way not to encourage negative behavior is to completely ignore your cat if he/she is causing trouble! Cats will usually do things for attention, but if they don't get attention after they do something, they will slowly learn that it doesn't get them what they want

HI, OMG these were really helpful thank you! I recently got a kitten and she's a Russian blue x British shorthair. Hopefully she gets more confident coz at the moment she likes to just sleep a lot throughout the day. Is this normal?
Do you know which sofa covers on Amazon or any other websites are recommended to keep kittens from scratching? I already have a scratching post and board but my kitten still goes underneath and can scratch. What do you recommend?
Hi! I haven't heard of any specific sofa covers but I have heard of sticky tape that cat owners tend to put on the side of their couches so that their cats don't scratch. After the cat gets used to the tape, they then take it off because the cat gets conditioned to disliking the stickiness: www.amazon.com/Scratcher-Deterrent-Repellent-Furniture-Scratching/dp/B08QR7BWB5/ref=asc_df_B08QR7BWB5/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=242015048042&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15023359382093886441&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9060252&hvtargid=pla-1257849648127&psc=1
Thank you 🙏 this is super informative 😸 I have a lot of open cabinets in my kitchen with all kinds of glass containers, I guess I will have to do something about that when I get a cat so that it won't jump up there and throw the glasses down and get hurt 🙀 it's next to the stove so Maybe I can train it to not go into that area at all.. what do you think?
Hi Badia! Cats are very curious by nature so it might be tough to train yours not to go in certain places. You may have an easier time making sure dangerous things are put away safely with child locks :)
British shorthair owners doesn't need that they are so calm and never spoil anything ❤
Russian blues are also sweetest ❤❤❤❤
What about a Persian cat?
I'm getting one like a few days after, I don't really know how they behave.
Fun noodles close off gaps and under furniture!

Oh my gosh these tips were great 👍 especially the stove locks. I am going to look for these now since that was something I didn't even know existed.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for the tape and cardboard tips! Definitely need to keep mine from getting in between the refrigerator
Just bought a bunch of plush door draft stoppers. Was able to find several with damaged packaging for a discount. I'll be using those to fill in gaps.
So resourceful!
Thanks! This helped alot as a new kitten owner

Good tip! And lol absolutely, I’ve gotten too many scars that way 😂
Great video, thanks! I use vinegar and water to clean. I have to keep covers on my window screen frames.
Very helpful, thank you!
How often do you feed your cat and change his litter box
Is it possible to teach your kitten/cat what is not allowed? e.g. playing on the kitchen countertop, drinking from cups etc

I had to laugh at this one.dogs, yes........cats no. I have a flame point that I yelled at when he messed up, now he is paranoid.
