The tattoo that’s even more visible at 0:44 shows the Special Forces Shoulder Patch with Airborne Rocker! He may have spent some time in the Army, but his demeanor certainly doesn’t come off like he’s SF!
He also has a “USMC” tattoo on that outside of his right forearm, you can see it at the end of the video when they are going over his arrest citation with him. 31:53.
He should have no trouble getting a job in law enforcement if he actually was in the military with a honorable discharge,, either he lied or failed the academy.. I’m retired from the military and every one I know that applies with the law enforcement usually gets a job..

Just a big smile and a warm thank you to the officers who gave the time of day to the elderly woman, sometimes people can be a bit burdensome when the cops have pressing tasks, but these officers are top-notch professionals both in how they handle the arrest but also in their care and consideration to the public. So many people in our society are isolated and lonely, and sometimes just want someone to listen and have human interaction. Nicely done to everyone.
And then they let the scum bag go with a misdemeanor. Nope, not doing a good job. This guy is a dangerous DeWitt who will hurt someone. He should been arrested for a felony.
he wasnt really impersonating. You're not an official officer of the state. As much as your ego leads you to believe you are. You have no authority to "light" someone up, pull them over or ask for ID. you're simple security, your job is to observe & report to the proper authorities. You're basically Paul Blart mall cop. You have an over inflated self of importance.
I got no problems with mall security. Most seem like college kids training to be police, retired police, etc. but those folks seem to know not to pretend like this. But the ones who never made it or will never make it as police. Holy hell they are crazy.
@@patrickbuick5459security can make arrests, just like you can (on their assigned properties). Technically, they can do it anywhere, just like you, because they’re also citizens. It’s just highly frowned upon for them making arrests outside their work areas when on duty unless it’s absolutely prudent. It’s called a citizen’s arrest. It’s a lawful ability recognized for property owners for a very long time. Moreover, when you’re arrested on private property, even if said property is open to the public, the property owner or their representatives (security) don’t need a warrant or even probable cause to search your possessions. Let that sink-in should you get your jollies off on demeaning a lowly “guard” because you think you’re a street lawyer. On their properties, they in essence have more authority, or perhaps better stated…permissions, than the police do. What hemmed this guy up is doing illegal activity on a street or highway, going to his work property, & then being under the belief that he didn’t have to comply. Here’s another tip: Sheriffs are the supreme law enforcement of the land because they’re elected. You might want to comply. Also, the general public is highly uneducated about this stuff. So, take upon yourself to be educated.
When you think you're smarter than a rookie county cop and you light up a state police captain... Lord.. help this guy. Wonder how many times a week he does this to random people?
10000% Agree. Not only does it make me wanna slap him up for messing up this footage, I reckon there's an ulterior reason why he keeps an unfortunate item obstructing the cameras vision... ofc I may be wrong but it just seems a little bit sus.
This is very dangerous, especially for young people who might be unaware of true police procedures. Women could be kidnapped and assaulted, (or worse) by these criminals. It's very scary. The sad thing is that I dont believe this impersonator will stop until he does serious time in jail
Kuwaitis do this. Corrupt policeman even told my coworker that his Mustang now belonged to the Kuwaiti cop just because it was nice. Sociopaths need to be taught a lesson.
But he didn't kidnap or assault anyone. He was slightly stubborn, but that's more annoying than dangerous. Even the cops said this guy, overall, helps protect people in a bad neighborhood. Near the end of the video they said he, "Does a good thing," as a Private Protection Officer. A female store owner was talking with him in the video and briefly with the cops about crime there. She sounded like he wants him there for security.
"I was trying to pull him over, that it, that's all I did 🤷🏽♂️" there was a rape in mcdonalds and fentanyl being sold behind walgreens.. what does his company do again exactly? A secondary police force?
The fact that this dude woke up in the morning and put on this uniform to play pretend says a lot about how dangerous he could be. I don’t understand what these people are thinking. Way too much free time on their hands.
How would a woman alone know that this was not a cop? That is why you pull over in a place with people around, keep your doors locked and only open your window enough to pass your papers through. And call 911 and verify if he really is a cop if you are unsure. Here in Texas it is a third degree felony, ten years and a $10,000 fine.
This sounds like a good idea in theory. But in practice with most actual cops it’s going to turn out bad. They won’t want to talk with you through an almost closed window
I'm not a woman, but a fake cop tried to pull me over about 15 years ago. He was driving a regular car, had civilian clothes on, but flashed a badge at me and motioned for me to pull over. I sped up and kept going. He didn't pursue.
If you have loved-ones, despite their gender (because anybody can get screwed by a cop impersonator), teach them to look at the badge for a department name and, if uniformed, for a department patch. The general public, from my experience of wearing both civilian and military uniforms, is that people are too shy or unaware of what to look for on a uniform. Don’t be afraid to give them a good look! It might just be the difference between knowing who you’re talking to and not!
If he keeps "busting" people (ie detaining), his insurance is going to end up paying a huge settlement when someone he "busts" gets injured and files a suit.
What the fudge can you imagine someone taking the time to buy all of the clothing and then go out and do that kind of stuff that's a very sick sick mind
In EVERY single one of these cases, they ALWAYS try to lie themselves out of the situation because they know they screwed up. As soon as he was given another chance to come clean and started back lying, I would have just shut the door and booked him for impersonating a police officer.
The problem is that they have no actual evidence that he turned his lights on. It was just one's word against the other. They were trying to get him to admit to turning his lights on - that's what all the discussion was about. Standard police interrogation tactic.
To a lay person he looks every inch a cop. He has all the gear, wears identifying police insignias and has blue and red lights on his car. This should be a felony crime. Why are people in the US able to buy all this stuff at a store? It should be identifiable police only gear. Police scanners should also be encrypted and not available to anyone outside the police force as cops in the UK have
Actually, there are many private protective roles across the country that require security officers to train to a higher standard above the general public's common perception of the average security professional. For instance, check out the security teams that protect critical infrastructures such as NASA, Nevada National Security Site (a.k.a. Area 51), SpaceX, and Los Alamos National Laboratory to name a few. In some (but not all) aspects of their roles, these security professionals are required to train to a much higher standard than the average police officer. Unfortunately, many private companies will hire practically anyone (i.e., a warm body) to operate in both an armed and unarmed capacity; but neglecting to provide adequate and mandatory training regarding the state laws and corporate security policies these professionals must observe while on duty. In summary, certain armed security positions require similar equipment that law enforcement personnel use to discharge their duties (such as firearms [including carbines], radios, body armor, handcuffs, OC spray, and properly credentialed vehicles that are outfitted with lighting kits which conform to state law and local ordinances).
@@NopreservativeNot everyone can see the difference. Very arrogant of you to claim that everyone has to be able to see the difference and make fun of those who can't.
Same in Australia, only police are allowed to wear their specific uniform. Uniforms should be specific so the public can readily identify who they're dealing with.
We really need to restrict the range of uniforms and police-like insignia and accessories security guards can wear. You shouldn't have to guess whether someone is a cop. Security guards so often larp as cops, and that's all they can do because they can't pass the background or psychological exams to be a cop.

Being a clown isn't against the law, apparently the elements of committing a crime weren't met in accordance with how the state law is written.
It appears he (or someone with the same name and DOB) was arrested in 96 for assault with a deadly weapon (charge later dropped) and child abuse (served 3 years probation), also pled no contest to embezzlement then there are several speeding tickets.

How would a woman alone know that this was not a cop? That is why you pull over in a place with people around, keep your doors locked and only open your window enough to pass your papers through. And call 911 and verify if he really is a cop if you are unsure. Here in Texas it is a third degree felony, ten years and a $10,000 fine.
...and get charged with felony evading for it lol
