There is volume control with the Jabra Elite 5. Hold left button down for volume down or hold right button down for volume up. Mine came set like this.
I just went to pick up a pair of 4’s and after waiting for them to find them for 5 or 10 minutes, the line was backing up. The manger jumped in and sold me $150 Elite Active 5’s for the $80 Elite 4’s price and apologized. I think I got a good deal. Very happy with them so far. Especially considering I got them for almost half price.
Returned 4 pairs of Elite 7 Pros due to call quality problems, gave up on them and asked for the Elite 5 instead. Very happy so far! Thanks for the great review. Customizing the ANC in the app made a big difference for the better, fyi. I stood next to an industrial air compressor while doing it and now it works great imo.
I commented before that the 7 Pro's aren't worth twice the $$ of the 5s for the same features. They should throw multipoint on the 3s, kill the 4s and 85Ts and 'audiophile-up' the elite 7s
What im guessing is, maybe they figured out the most comfortable mold yet that a significant design change might be risky. Its one of their selling points that the mold of it is comfortablr the wearer, claiming they tested it on thousands of ears. So a design change might be a comfort risk, which might be a reason of their almost identical designs
75t sucks ass, the most unbalanced earbuds ever made, extremely bloated bass and no mids. Jabra elite 7 pro/active/3/5 is superiour sound-wise and generally better in any possible way..
@@rubenvikevage8495 that's why I love my 75ts. The sound signture is dynamic, love the bass fells like hearing a movie. Hence my disappointment with new line up.
@@juanmanuel9864 If you like the sound signature of the 75t's, well, then you gonna love those cheap chinese knock-offs on wish/ebay, they're all about bad tuning and boomy bass.
I do like jabras but i can save y'all the whole review - do you need Multipoint? If you do, forget the elite 3 and 4. Otherwise they all the same pretty much. Elite 5s are the best value with MP, decent calls & The 7s and 85Ts aren't worth the money. If you can do without MP, the 3s (or 100 other buds will be just fine)
I literally had to find this video to figure out if this model has volume control or not. Why do brands make it so hard to find their own basic features? Anyway, if you're still reading the comments, can you please suggest a tws with the following features: 1) Volume control(duh) - ideally swipe to increase/ decrease but I'll take anything at this point 2) Dual pairing/ multipoint - For Android and Windows PC 3) in-ear detection for auto pause media I honestly don't even care that much about sound quality because I don't even listen to music (just watch media and take calls/ meetings) Anything in your mind that ticks all the above boxes and doesn't cost a ton? Please let me know if you do. Thanks!
This late but Jabra earbuds volume controls aren't configurable. Press and hold while music is playing. In terms of earbuds that have a wide degree of control including in call controls such as mute, sidetone, hold and switching, and volume in calls, Jabras do a lot there. And while i'm here, he got the "auto answer" wrong too. They don't just answer every call if they're in your ears. That feature is if a call is coming in and then you pick up an earbud and insert it into your ear then it will answer. So its either pick up the phone or pick up the earbud but it still involves picking up something on the user's part
That tunnel effect (called the occlusion effect) is from an obstruction in your ear (the earbud). Jabra claims these are vented to prevent this, but I have the elite 7 pro and they also do what your describing, so either they not really vented or the vent is easily blocked… that stinks these do it too
@@NewStuffTV1 Lol! True! A lot of people are split on the PBPs so I'm gonna patiently wait for your opinion on them. Still lovin all the other reviews in the meantime tho!✊🏽
I bought 2 brand new Jabra Elite 5s and the Google hotword feature is a pretty plus although there is a widespread software issue here present on both pairs where when Google Assistant is selected as the Voice Assistant, the right earbud's triple press won't perform its assigned action (I've assigned it to Sound Modes). If the Voice Assistant is changed to Android default or Alexa, the triple press action works! This is clearly a software issue. I already tried to reset and re-paired both of the Elite 5s that I got, including reinstalling the Jabra app but the issue of the right bud's triple press not performing its assigned action is still there. It's only evident when I designate Google as my assistant, otherwise, the controls work on both or either bud regardless of what actions I assign. Is this the same for everybody? Also, Google assistant press and hold function is locked on the right earbud when activated so it cannot be designated to the left (fyi). Otherwise, the user can just speak to activate the assistant. P.s. I contacted Jabra yesterday via Instagram and phone and they are not aware of this issue, they told me that they are raising this with their Product Development Team. What a bummer for a newly released product, may not be worth hyping this Elite 5s until they fix the issue via a firmware update. I hope this info helps others to not waste their money if they are thinking about getting these Elite 5s.
I see you still rocking you fold 4 with its orange case. Lol lol. I think New Bluetooth earphones show be less than $100 dollars since there is enough $150 plus earphones out there. Unless there is something extremely special about them.
Dude you can volume up and down the Jabra Elite 5 ear buds just by hold right or left buttons, doing a review with misinformation is terrible.... I discover that after 5 min using them.
I hate them. Getting a refund max volume is pitiful and yes I pressed the right and held it to crank the volume and they suck. Bass sucks and the eq settings suck. 😂 My Skullcandy Rails are louder and better bass.

Hey someone just created a duplicate TH-cam as yours and under my comment, they said i won and to reach out to me on Telegram.

I tried to control the volume but nothing works. I am skeptical if there is any control.
@@shrikanthsingh8243OP tells the truth
don,t use assistant
Mine came like that too, I can control by long pressing

You can get volume control when you take away the Google voice assistant to replace it.
I don't really understand what Jabra is doing. They're coming out with all these earbuds and they're all very similar to one another.
They saw BMW's car lineup and said "hold my beer" lol

I'm sticking with my Elite 75t. They still work great.
75Ts are good buds still and the Elite 7 Pro's aren't worth twice the price of the elite 5s if you stick with Jabs when you upgrade
I am a big fan of Jabra but I think their prices are way too high with all of the new competition out now like 1more and edifier
Sound-wise they are identical only difference is some have features others don't.
hold the left button to lower the volume and the right one to make it louder
Jabra has never been the same since the one and only 75Ts.

I find them very good for the price Thank you👍👍
Hope you are doing well love your videos, just haven't been buying tech so haven't seen your videos in a while. Been to broke.

That's too bad the ANC isn't good. Then the price should be $100 not $150.
No Pixel Buds Pro review? 🤔
