That looks like it would be easy until you watch the game play. the claw dipping down into the water makes just enough water movement outward to move those rings away from the hook. I wonder if trapping a ring against the side would do any better (try for the ring on the outside edge with the hook towards the ring)? I will have to think about this. There has to be some trick to it...

Cairo Fuller definitely, hook to edge of bowl would probably be the best method so that the ring has no where to go.

Glad I wasn't there, I'd spend all of my money trying to win that Kaitou Kid figure since anything Detective Conan is hard to find here in the US but then again if I were there, I could probably easily find Detective Conan stuff I don't need to win, still, that Kaitou Kid figure is taunting me.
The ring games look so easy, almost like it would be impossible NOT to hook one.

I would get a heater, boil the water and make the rings gooey and sticky. So, Then it sticks to the hook. Just not in the figure claw machine. The figures would look like C.H.U.D.. Also, great video as always! :)

How can you not be a big fan of Pokemon?? I just looove Pokemon! It has always been there in my childhood with the series and cards and marbles and now its still there. The games and pokemon go. I just cant imagine a live without it! My fav is the fluffy eevee!
Seems like those rings in the water dish may create an optical illusion.. light bending could make the rings "appear" to line up with your hook, but once it enters the water, the hooks may actually be 1-10mm away from the hook.
