If there were more people like Review Brah who gave care and consideration into something as overlooked as fast food, a lot of people would be happier in life. If those workers at the taco bell knew the significance of their work, i bet they would like their jobs a lot more

And a lot of people would come back and be like I want her to make my food. Because they liked how I did it! And it just goes to show that you can put care and consideration into food even if it is Fast food.
I can’t lie, I work at Taco Bell- this burrito and its respective sauce are both garbage. Our fries aren’t good either. They’re literally soggy fries seasoned with Lowry’s salt. Get some Tostitos Queso, get some frozen fries and air fry them, then use some Lowry’s salt on them. All of those are readily available at most convenience stores.
I am impressed EVERY TIME that he puts together these in-depth reviews. Each one is replete with essential information interwoven with entertaining dry wit and just the right touch of sarcasm here and there - ALL DONE IN ONE TAKE! No jump cuts every 5 seconds. RB truly displays a high-level mastery of communication.

Former Taco Bell employee here! For whom it may concern always request that the fries are fresh to prevent them from being soggy AF. They only really last about 30-45 mins on the line and a lot of Taco Bell’s in my experience toss them after an hour when they’re complete mush. Always stoked on your videos my dude!
Spot on RB, as usual. Anytime I see a Taco Bell burrito now that includes their Nacho Fries, I pass on it every time. I know from past experience, that you'll mostly be getting a potato burrito. They just toss the word "steak" in there as a marketing ploy to pull you in. As you perfectly demonstrated, the steak walks thru on stilts!
Just tried it, and it was very bleh...not horrible, but not great. Pretty much as you said,, way more potato than steak. Plus the Nacho cheese IMO is unnecessary. The verde sauce was "Okay"....but not enough to make this something I'd ever get again.

I was surprised to learn that I really enjoy the Fiesta Veggie Burrito a lot. The chipotle sauce they use is very flavorful and it's only a $2.00 item.
@@Diephoon Absolutely. Even a non-vegetarian like myself can appreciate that one. They have 2 other $2 burritos that I really like as well... Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken & the Beefy Melt burritos. They're tasty, fill you up, perfect for on the go, plus easy on the wallet.
thats the problem with taco bell like i like there beef burritos but they add rice to them so i have to say NO RICE EXTRA BEEF CHEESE N SOUR CREAM but even then not enough beef or cheese so i usually say EXTRA EXTRA BEEF AND EXTRA EXTRA CHEESE AND EXTRA SOUR CREAM then they get it right only problem is they are still to damn small and i have to order like 5 of them to get filled up and 5 of them cost like 15 bucks but damn are they good just ask for a large side of sour cream to dip the burritos in and grab some mild sauce to mix in to the sour cream and shit is goated
yeah same lol yesterday i ordered 8 orders of nacho fries that come with 8 cheese sauce sides and i killed all of them in like 30 mins when i was playing fortnite lol but the only problem is they dont fill u up much cuz i had to heat up 2 hungry man fried chicken dinners and some heinz country gravy to put on top then i felt full also they dont give u enough fries in one order it takes at least 4 or 6 orders to get full but i have a big build so it takes 8 for me they slap hard af tho damn good fries but not as good as wendys baconater fries those things slap way harder i could live on baconater fries my favorite food just ad some ranch on top with some melted velveta cheese and extra sour cream and those slap hard af
u can fix your mood just make a home made quesadillah with 2 cups of cheese a third a block of velveta cheese n 2 cups of ground beef n serve with a cup of sour cream and youll be happy cant be sad with that
Loved the cross section view this time, it's nice to get a clean cut view of the product. On paper this burrito sounds interesting but the implementation of it is key, I think if the ingredients were in proper proportion then the burrito would be pretty good but having it slapped together really messes it up. When they come up with new ideas they have chefs prepare them in fancy testing kitchens which gives them the best version of the product, no where near what we receive as average consumers sadly.

I understand your assessment of this burrito because every time Taco Bell put sour cream in a burrito It's not distributed evenly throughout the burrito. It always ends up at 1 end of the burrito So either you get a mouthful of sour cream at the beginning or the end of the burrito but nowhere else.
@@DreadOcean72972 I used to work at TB. All you have to do is make a horizontal motion across the other ingredients. It literally takes less than 2 sec. Management was always annoying as fuck about drive thru times though.
Seriously though, this is exactly what they do. They just shuffle around the ingredients and call the item something “new”. Great way to sucker your consumers
I got one today, and I swapped the steak with ground beef, added extra Chile Verde. Needless to say it was super good. This new Chile Verde sauce is awesome. 😊
man i love taco bell beef i like to order 4 cheese quesadiyas and add beef and sour cream to them then ask for a couple sides of nacho cheese sauce for dipping and shit slaps hard just add some mild sauces to the cheese and its like mexican cheese
Taco Bell has been my go to since my childhood, burrito supreme used to have black olives, it added something it no longer has. I tried the steak taco at the" Loredo Taco company " , delicious and tender with plenty of steak. If you get a chance to try it, don't pass it by.
Recently found your Fast Food Review's and I am loving them. I tried the Steak Chile Verde Burrito and ordered it as is as I wanted to see if I felt the same way you did about the burrito. Happily I can say I received more steak in my burrito, and a good amount of sauce without ordering extra. Seems like you may have received more fries as my burrito did not seem dry. I thoroughly enjoyed my burrito and actually can't wait to get another one. Thank you for your reviews however my waistline is not going to be happy as I will be compelled to try everything you review - LOL.
The issue will always be that Taco Bell does the 'ingredients jumble' technique with their menu. So items just get re integrated into each other. That's what's happened with the fries atm. But other chains will bring brand new items onto their menus usually for limited times. Idk why Taco Bell is much less inclined to do this especially when their competition does(popeyes, arbys, mcdonalds, bk, pizza hut etc)
i like to order 4 of there beef burritos add extra beef cheese n sour cream then have them grill them then i ask for a side of sour cream to dip them in and add some mild sauce to it for dipping and shit slaps hard af sometimes i say no rice and extra nacho cheese and steak to cuz the steak is good mixed with there beef then you also got the gooey cheese and sour cream that tastes good af another good thing to get is if you go to wendys and order a triple baconater and large baconater fries and large frosty best meal you can get right there pizza hut has stuffed crust meat lovers just tell them extra peperoni and cheese and ask for a couple ranch packets then you can dip that shit and the crust is actually worth eating cuz it has cheese on it

I'm kinda a regular, And I appreciate and love the Nacho fries! Hoping they keep them on the menu! It's pretty nice they stay crispy for longer as well, im sure that'll help me stay crispy longer! 😅
I tried the steak fries and they were actually decent, though there just wasn't enough steak. It's sad that we now have to request double meat to even taste it. I didn't think the "fiesta strips" added anything either. No real flavor and they just got soggy.
There is a local place that does carne asada fry burritos and they are amazing. Fries are fresh cut, flour tortillas, made to order. It comes with Guac, sour cream, cheese, and chile verde. It's been my favorite thing for nearly 10 years. Crap, now I want to drive to town to get one, but that's a 20 mile trip. There is one variant where they sub the fries with flamin hot cheetos.

I had the regular steak chili verde fries ( sans the fiesta strip because when they get soggy ick ) not bad the price was fair. When I get a burrito I peel off half the tortilla because it's too much.
I can't find anything online, but our local Taco Bell has replaced the side taco on combos with their fries. The menu pictures have changed completely, which leads me to believe this could be a future change for others. Unfortunate if so.
I liked the burrito, I found the sauce to really good. Get the burrito grilled and eat it hot, way better. At best he is trying this burrito 30-45 minutes after it was made, those fries cool down and steam inside the burrito so of course they will get soggy and cold after that long. I understand he does all reviews with the food having sat for so long, but an argument could be made that some foods are less desirable than others once cold. Any burrito with fries in it will be pretty unappetizing after sitting 30-45 minutes. Just my opinion 😊😊
At least where the Bell is concerned... I don't know whether they started skimping on the condiments during 2020 or before it, but I always got better service and food dining in than through delivery from them.
I thought the steak chili verde fries looked yummy didn’t know they had a burrito version as well. Maybe you could do those next? Before I try any new item I always check to see if review brah has tried it first! 😊
I used to work at a KFC/TacoBell...made so many Chalupas filled with KFC strips and chipotle sized burritos filled with KFC original bites, the best part was having access to all the sauces from both chains, they had that finger lickin good sauce back then...I've lost a lot of weight since working there xD

This review intrigued me, so I tried the Steak Chile Verde Fries Burrito today. I had the opposite experience as you at my local Taco Bell. They went really heavy on the Chile Verde sauce, which when you have it in abundance, is fairly hot! May be too much for some people. Way hotter than the Wendy's Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich. Good, but really eye-watering hot. There was quite a bit of steak in mine. Very few fries or sour cream, though. The sour cream probably gets the sauce down to a manageable level, but when it's missing, it stings! So, like most fast food joints, just be aware that your local Bell might be going all out on the sauce and while it's tasty, it's fairly hot. Be warned!
Nacho Fries must not be overdone to me, considering at this point I feel they may as well just be a permanent item rather than a gimmick. Just put that on the menu, and the supreme version and leave it at that. It's probably the best possible 'side' you could get there in my opinion. Make it permanent already Taco Bell, c'mon. And gimme my naked chicken chalupa again...

I will say - I like the fries! And when they come back, I usually go get them. And I really liked this burrito!
There is a local place that does carne asada fry burritos and they are amazing. Fries are fresh cut, flour tortillas, made to order. It comes with Guac, sour cream, cheese, and chile verde. It's been my favorite thing for nearly 10 years. Crap, now I want to drive to town to get one, but that's a 20 mile trip. There is one variant where they sub the fries with flamin hot cheetos.

I had the regular steak chili verde fries ( sans the fiesta strip because when they get soggy ick ) not bad the price was fair. When I get a burrito I peel off half the tortilla because it's too much.
I can't find anything online, but our local Taco Bell has replaced the side taco on combos with their fries. The menu pictures have changed completely, which leads me to believe this could be a future change for others. Unfortunate if so.
Someone probably owns that franchise and made the change themselves, smart move

It’s crazy the difference in these burritos in different areas. I got it here and it was COVERED in sauce. That’s all me or my boyfriend could taste.

I liked the burrito, I found the sauce to really good. Get the burrito grilled and eat it hot, way better. At best he is trying this burrito 30-45 minutes after it was made, those fries cool down and steam inside the burrito so of course they will get soggy and cold after that long. I understand he does all reviews with the food having sat for so long, but an argument could be made that some foods are less desirable than others once cold. Any burrito with fries in it will be pretty unappetizing after sitting 30-45 minutes. Just my opinion 😊😊
The review makes it clear that this burrito is a metaphor for life, so much potential but not enough sauce.
At least where the Bell is concerned... I don't know whether they started skimping on the condiments during 2020 or before it, but I always got better service and food dining in than through delivery from them.

I used to work at a KFC/TacoBell...made so many Chalupas filled with KFC strips and chipotle sized burritos filled with KFC original bites, the best part was having access to all the sauces from both chains, they had that finger lickin good sauce back then...I've lost a lot of weight since working there xD

This review intrigued me, so I tried the Steak Chile Verde Fries Burrito today. I had the opposite experience as you at my local Taco Bell. They went really heavy on the Chile Verde sauce, which when you have it in abundance, is fairly hot! May be too much for some people. Way hotter than the Wendy's Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich. Good, but really eye-watering hot. There was quite a bit of steak in mine. Very few fries or sour cream, though. The sour cream probably gets the sauce down to a manageable level, but when it's missing, it stings! So, like most fast food joints, just be aware that your local Bell might be going all out on the sauce and while it's tasty, it's fairly hot. Be warned!

Nacho Fries must not be overdone to me, considering at this point I feel they may as well just be a permanent item rather than a gimmick. Just put that on the menu, and the supreme version and leave it at that. It's probably the best possible 'side' you could get there in my opinion. Make it permanent already Taco Bell, c'mon. And gimme my naked chicken chalupa again...
