I TRUST YOU LORD. Please give me strength to get through this Christmas. I’m holding on and keeping faith. I keep faith even as I constantly struggle to provide for my kids and I constantly struggle to buy groceries. My husband is with you God. At times I feel so alone especially as a single mom. Since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus I’m overwhelmed. Both of my sons are autistic. I’m now homeschooling them so my hours to work are limited. Thankfully I have you Lord Jesus. Please continue to give me strength.

When everything else fails, just think about it as a test from God. He see’s your faith, he see’s your effort. He loves you and will keep strengthening you through this journey. You are a great mother for not giving up and God gave you those two beautiful children because he knew only you would be able to push through this. Ask him to give you wisdom and the guidance for the right choices. All your choices will then be guided by him and there will then be no chance for losing, it’ll all be for learning.

I'm glad, at least that these young adults are actually thinking somewhat. Way back when, when I was their age, I was just figuring out that we were souls that happen to have a body and that it could not be any other way. Just like way back when I realized that God could not possibly be some old man sitting on a throne in the sky somewhere and He had to be something way, way beyond that little meme.
I'm grateful that I dropped out of university at 20 after hearing professors say things that I knew weren't true. I didn't make a big deal out of it, I simply closed my books quietly, got up without being disruptive to the class, and walked silently back to my car in the parking lot and left for good. Pursue The Truth no matter what the cost.

Well I didn’t drop out and I took classes and passed the test. I didn’t argue with the professor. I am glad I stayed because it caused me to do a lot of critical thinking. I realized what they were teaching was theory, the Big Bang theory, the theory of evolution. I kept reading the word theory, a guess , a hypothesis, a question they really couldn’t answer. So I realized that God as the answer is just as , if not more legitimate an answer as what they were spewing. Of course I decided to exercise my faith in God to seek Him and I found Him. If you don’t have faith in God when you seek Him you won’t find Him. “ But without faith it is impossible to please Him( God), for he who comes to God must believe He is and He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6. All these unbelievers are giving the world is theories that cannot be proven, opinions that are not facts.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I have really been enjoying these videos and his lines of argumentation, though I think a big error is made at 0:43 where he talks about generational hate being of "rational" thought. I think this is done mostly so he can contrast radical forgiveness as "irrational" a moment later. While I think this is a cute framing of forgiveness, it seems dangerous at the same time. Rational thought is a good thing that helps us interpret things and understand each other. Generational hate is not rational. It's reactionary and emotional. God's radical forgiveness IS mind blowing, but I believe it is also ultimately rational within the fullness of the system God designed. It seems more likely that we cannot understand or articulate how His forgiveness is rational, because it goes against so many worldly expectations. But rationality is a good thing, I believe. It is not the only good thing nor the only necessary thing for understanding the truth. I understand his biological argument for forgiveness being irrational, but I think that's only because it's a broken world. Within the fullness of God's kingdom, I believe forgiveness will not only be rational but natural (should such a thing even be necessary).

To assert that atheism requires deceit to sustain itself is to misunderstand both atheism and the nature of belief. Disbelief in gods isn't a conspiracy or a lie; it's a conclusion reached by many after considering the available evidence and arguments. Foreknowledge is not predestination. If it is, then the fact that I know everyone reading this will one day die makes me guilty of murdering them -- and them of me.
Or in a less dramatic example, you are driving in the rain and as you go, the clouds clear and the sun comes out. You see cars coming the other way and you know they are about to drive into rain. Likewise, a few miles back in the rain, drivers coming the other way knew I was going to drive into clear weather. But in spite of all this clear foreknowledge on the part of drivers going both ways, only a fool would claim that any of the drivers caused it to rain or shine on anyone or even that any of them forced any of the other drivers to drive one direction or the other.
God does not merely "see" the future, he is already there in it, watching us. And as CS Lewis said, "to watch a man do something is not to make him do it."
This is because there is no past or future to God; all time is present before him. This is why Jesus says in John 8:58, "Before Abraham was, I am." Note that he says "am", not "was". Not only is he claiming to be God by using this play on words that are God's name in Hebrew (I am), he is claiming to be present with Abraham in the "past".
Long before that at the burning bush, God tells Moses "I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." Once again am, not was. He is claiming to be the God of the living, not the dead. They are alive with God not only in what is to Moses "the past" but with God eternally in Heaven. This is at least partially verified at the Transfiguration in Matthew 17 and Mark 9, where Peter, James and John see Moses (and Elijah) talking to Jesus.
What's interesting is that many, if not most, of the same skeptics who will come along and try to poo-poo what I have said here as nonsensical about there being multiple dimensions of time would jump at the chance to use multiple dimensions of time if it could be used to argue against God.
Which, ironically, they have already done by claiming that foreknowledge is predestination!
Yes, I saw that coming so I guess I made them do it...

The idea that value comes from self-attribution isn't scary; it's a recognition of our ability to determine our own worth and morality. The fear that a society might deem some people valueless isn't exclusive to atheism. History is full of such judgments, often under religious justifications. Arguing that morality and value must come from a divine source is a cop-out. It ignores the capacity of human reason, empathy, and social understanding to establish ethical frameworks. Suggesting that secularism leads to moral chaos is not only simplistic but also ignores the complex, reasoned bases of secular moral systems.

    • @jessec4443
      @jessec4443 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@ReformedR Suggesting that morality must be divinely ordained because children act immorally, is fallacious. Firstly, it's an appeal to nature fallacy: just because children naturally act in a certain way doesn't mean that's how things should be. Children's behavior isn't the yardstick for moral philosophy. As humans mature, they develop the ability to reason and empathize, forming the basis of moral judgments.
Secondly, arguing that morality must transcend us to avoid subjectivity is a false dilemma. Morality doesn't have to be either completely subjective or divinely objective. Ethical frameworks can be built on rational, empathetic grounds, rooted in the well-being of individuals and societies. Human reason is more than capable of developing sound moral judgments - look at the principles of justice, human rights, and altruism, which have evolved through human discourse, not divine decree.
You also imply that forgiveness is inherently unreasonable, yet you overlook the social and psychological benefits of forgiveness. It fosters reconciliation, reduces resentment, and promotes social cohesion. These are reasonable, practical outcomes that benefit society.
Your argument ignores the diversity and inconsistency of moral standards across different religions. If divine morality were clear and universal, wouldn't we expect more uniformity in moral beliefs among theists of different faiths?
Your claim that morality must come from a divine source lacks logical foundation and ignores the complexities of human moral and ethical development. It's not enough to say "children behave selfishly, therefore GOD." We need a more nuanced understanding of morality, one that respects human capacity for reason and empathy.

when someone contemplate the paint of a great Artist they will not know how all the Paint was made and what is the message they will go sometimes to the Artist and speak with them about the Paint.
God is the artist and the World is his Paint
When you see some animals flowers you can't just say it came by luck
look at the beauty of a Mandarin duck. It's like someone painted a duck !
look at the vivid colors of a Scarlet Macaw
look at the dance of the swans how they do an earth with their neck
everything point that God made the universe
When you see a book you know it was made by someone. The ink didn't just write it self out of the pen on the Paper
It's common nonsense we all agree on that. If someone saw a pen writing something on a paper in real life show me then
If i say that i saw a garage explode and then a beautiful car was created in the front of my eyes will you believe me ?
You are gonna laugh so why should i believe that by an explosion our Universe was made

Jesus never taught religion or Christianity he taught having a Relationship with God through himself. Christianity was originally a following not a religion. So follow John14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” We can't get to heaven by works, because God doesn't pick favorites.

Human life has ultimate value. Look at the reggae star “Yellow Man” his mother decided this life has no value. Born in Jamaica, Yellow Man was born albino. His mother through him in the garbage . He became a pioneer in reggae dance hall, to some a king. Gods plan for us is much bigger than another human can imagine.

Wow! He stepped off the deep end this time. Forgiveness is irrational, but God needed a perfect human blood sacrifice to enable his irrational forgiveness... but still allows sin to happen and the Devil remains the "God of this Earth."
If God can do anything it wants, then why not just irrationally forgive us? Jesus taught to forgive without being asked. Why can't God practice what his Son preaches?
If the debt of Sin is an eternity in Hell, then the just sacrifice would take our place in Hell for eternity. Jesus was dead for a day and a half. A proper sacrifice would be Jesus in Hell for eternity, in our place.

Even tho God's mercy is great, he is still a God of justice. That is why Jesus has to be sacrificed as a perfect human.

He does forgive, but since he is a God of justice Your evil deeds must payed, and since god loves you so much he came down in human for and died for our sins, all he asks in return is for you not to sin, buts its okay to sin, since we are not perfect we must repent and try to be good it really isn't hard xD
