I just received my Project M today. only spent a few hours auditioning them, but have to agree they are source sensitive. The detail retrieval may have a little to do with it. Great Review. I subbed .
thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it! And yeah the source in my opinion is very important Suprisingly on vinyl I everything just sounds amazing with no sharp sibilance of treble (allegedly, maybe it might have to do with the AMP i'm using)
Fabulous review(s). Subscribed recently. Dig your 'Y'all' style and more importantly, the detailed nuances in the review. Been pimping your videos on headfi in the recent days! Rock on. I have the Aful P8, and been told that ProjecT M is more a sidegrade than upgrade from em. What would be your recommendation for an upgrade - bright-leaning, treble-rich, quality bass technical (cum musical!) iem. If it's pricey, i shall try to look in used market. 400-500$ would be my budget; anything above I would have dig into the used market, which I would happily do if I can nail the iem. Two of my best IEMs are the wondrous warm-bassy Miroak-ii (From a JApanese artisan, an one-man show at 634ears) and the Aful P8s, and a few cheapies of course. Looking to step-up in that (described) territory. Thanks in advance. LOOKS like FiiO's FA19 could be that perfect iem.
I appreciate this tuning very, very much😆👏 You didn’t mention the superb timber. I really love this IEM. Thanks for the review❗️🔆
Thanks for the review

Very detailed and interesting take!
May I ask how it compares with the EJ07M, and which one would you actually prefer? Thanks
Hands down EJ07M
More resolving across the board compared to Project M
I don't like the timbre, cable, connector qc, or the stock tips. My experience has been pretty mediocre
No comments on the cable and QC, the unit i have is perfect
Timbre wise I can understand, because it's too much for me on an M15
at this pricepoint, better save a little more and get a Pilgrim
@arandomchannel1614 I'm happy with my butastur amd timsok ts-316, will try to hold off upgrades till canjam
