I am from Singapore. Early 2023, my brother and his girlfriend went Thailand for their regular holiday. He ate some beef noodles from street food that was spike with hemp. He got extremely dizzy and blackout because he cannot accept most drowsiness causing medicine. He was warded and waste SGD$2000 for hospital bill. As hemp is illegal thus he have to report to Singapore CNB for drug test because of that incident. Now my entire family avoid Thailand. Pre covid we actually love Thailand for the cheap massage and shopping and food. We can stay in Thailand for at least 2 whole week per trip. We simply rent service apartment whenever we visit.
