Proton follows Quantum mechanics where it would be reversed like the one you see. While the common magnet you use follows classical Mechanics where opposite pole attracts each other but quantum mechanics say same pole attracts each other. Well it is a large topic at quantum level everything changes which include the properties of the particles present.
I wish I came across ur videos during my university days, I wouldn't have failed quantum chemistry. Back then everything looked strange, see how easy you explained them. Your are indeed a great scholar.
Iam an Msc Chemistry student , I find your explanation too good to understand , thank you Sir , thank you so much , you took away the too much stress. I have
Your classes are very interesting and easy to understand thank u Soo much sir learned a lot from your class....a great teacher like u can make many students brighter..🙏🙏🙏
Hi sir. Every lecture of u is very helpful to me. Please make a video on 2D- NMR. Actually I asked u few months back about 2D NMR.. Please make it as soon as possible Thank you sir.
Sir . Everything is good but .The way of teaching have to make lil bit enjoyable.. after that the understanding of the students will be increase.. Sometimes you are teaching like a robot and all the time your expressions are same. Please sir . Don't take it negative.. I'm just sharing my opinion not of others.. And sir I respect to you and your dedication towards us for teaching. It's the hats off work of your that has been doing by you. And at last again I'm saying sorry. For the comment . If anyone of the students get hurt pls don't take it negative. It's only comment. For betterment. That's all.. Thanks ..
Haha... Thanks for your feedback. I will try to upgrade. Meanwhile you can watch our latest videos. May be you find it somewhat better and please give your feedback again.
Sir m confuse the alpha and beta position.. bcz at video time 6:53 Min in alpha position S(South) pole of the proton magnet is near the (N)North pole of the main magnet but at time 9:16 min in alpha position S(South) Pole of proton magnet is near the S(South) pole of main magnet. Plz help me....

sir..i have a doubt at alpha proton and alpha position...i missed clarity..can I know sir.....how in alpha position..they get same direction..because same pole repall each other like in alpha proton

If I am using 400MHz NMr and I put methanol. Can I decreases the magnetic field strength during the experiment or treatment of methnol only with respect to 400MHz
Hello sir I have a question as in nmr we are talking only Proton as they are carrying charge in them but quaks says that the magnetic movement in them are due to 2up and 1 down fundamental elements and neutrons also have 2 down and 1 up and magnetic movement in them are also possible so why they are not considered.
Sir give me only two questions ans.1) What is the spin state of nucleus in absence of external magnetic field?2) How can we calculate nuclear spin quantum no. 35Cl?
If proton is shielded, then it will feel less magnetic field or less radiofrequency due to shielding and it will flip. So, ultimately we can say it less energy.
@@marvellouschemistry when the proton is shielded with electrons(proton is present in the nucleus and surrounded by electrons)the proton which is present inside the nucleus is not exposed to the magnetic field... Hence it does not flip to alpha position (the position where proton is in alignment with magnetic field)... Now it is easy to spin this intermediate position to beta- position because the angle here is less than 180° Where in case of Deshielded ones the nucleus is not surrounded by electrons hence it is easily exposed to magnetic field and spins to alpha position (aligned with the direction of the magnetic field).. Now the rotation angle from alpha to beta position is more than 180°..so it requires more energy.
very good lecture sir, but little confusion regarding alpha, beta positions. earlier u cald alpha position at 6:28 , but at 9:45 u cald it beta position. would be thankful if u clear this confusion.
At 6:28 representation is end to end, but at 9:45 representation of two magnets are parallel. If protons are aligned with magnetic field then it's called alpha position.
hello sir , spin energy state me +1/2 niche kyu ata and - 1/2 uper kyu ata h ,jbki magnet ke concept me dekha jaye to -1/2 jo ki beta position stable h
Too excellent and qualitative video sir .really I understood more concept clearly. ....plz sir suggest me some easy topic. (bscchemistry) I have to present a seminar on it
You can take Chromatographic techniques like HPLC or HPTLC. Those topics are easy as compared to others. Videos are also available. Just make a ppt and present them.
At 9:30
In Alpha position, Proton will be aligned with Magnetic Field so consider North South Position of Magnet Accordingly.
I think in alpha position, north of magnet would be facing the South of applied magnetic field. Is it right sir?
