Another great video Tony! Quick question. How do I get to show the numbers near the cursor when I'm click dragging on the image.? They show up on the bottom of the interface, but not near the cursor like yours does. I did a check of a Dark at 300sec and a 3 sec Dark Flat and both showed a matching 0.042.
In PI is a button on the bottom menu (bottom line of application) which is just left to the coordinate numbers - more or less to the middle-right of that bottom line…if you click there you can change what is displayed under your cursor hope that helps @yervantparnaign5999
Thank you! Great question! Mine was like this default, but at the bottom of the PixInsight window where it shows the coordinates and pixel values, to the right of that, you’ll see an icon that looks like crosshairs with a square in the middle. Click on that, go to readout data and check “show readout preview”
My setup, Skywatcher eq pro6. I use usb connection on mount, with tripod. Skywatcher 100mm esprit, field flattener, svbony filter drawer, [ Light pollution] filter , asi585mc not pro, with svbony 60mm guide scope.
Impressive setup! Which light pollution filter are you using? Also, that 585 is a strong camera, even not being pro! I have recently reassigned mine to be guide camera and it still has yet to disappoint me.
Filter is u.h.c sv bony 1.25in. I do most of images from inside (window open). East to North East View, will go out when weather good. I use N.I.N.A. and Sharpcap pro,
New to your channel, but watching for over a year. I have all software running well . Thanks to you and Patriot astro.
