I really love OT7 NCT DREAM the way they are, but maybe, just maybe Mark and Haechan’s absence is not always bad. OT5 has more screentime to show just how much talented they actually are. Jaemin and Jeno can rap just as good as Mark. Renjun and Chenle can take those high notes like no problem. And some people realised it just now.
I'm sorry to say this, but I actually didn't notice that it was only 5 of them who were performing. Don't get me wrong, okay? I love all of them. But like what you said, it was also good seeing them perform like this. It shows that all of them are really talented l. Love NCT always

They are quite good at covering each other parts as they have been doing way before. Anyway, Big shout out to chenle and renjun who carry vocal of nct dream songs.
I definitely felt like when mark graduated from dream it was sad, but the other members got so many more lines, centre time and screentime. it’s not marks fault but sm definitely makes him stand out way more than the other members.

I will say though mark always gets like 2 full verses and is always in the centre for choruses where they’re all singing together and centre in dance breaks. when it was 6dream jeno and jisung got way more centre dance time (as they should as the members with dance positions), jaemin and jeno got way more rap verses rather than a few hype up lines here and there and idk why but the vocal parts are way more even too. chenle and renjun used to have barely any centre time and a few lines even though chenle was main vocal! idk i love mark in dream but i do still feel like when mark is in any group, SM overwork him and it’s frustrating to see that for both him and for the other members :(

seeing 5dream and how they killed this performance even with mark and heachan made me realize how strong they are as artists espcially chenle and jaemin jeno , they totally killed. I'm so proud of them.

it's bec sm is always biased to their korean members. even in aespa. they always give better parts to the korean members even when there are members equally talented as the k members. i personally like chenle's vocals more than the other vocals in dream. it has a unique, expensive-sounding quality to it but his lines and even high notes distribution are few :((
