I appreciate Links attitude of celebrating a “B” on a hard test his kids may have.. Some kids get discouraged by doing their best and not getting a great grade, but no one can achieve perfection in any aspects of their life all the time. Good life lesson as a “B” is still good and we don’t have to celebrate only if we achieve perfection
If everyone truly tried their “best”, everyone would make perfect scores. Everybody is physiologically capable of acing every test they come across. I understand your point, but they didn’t necessarily “try their best”

Greek yogurt is actually used in quite a few savory dishes including things like parfaits. Ive never had one but tasty table has a recipe for a savory cucumber parfait that has great reviews.

Rhett is right. Poutine would work in USA if it sounded more American or better yet, was invented in the States. But every American friends I know who tasted poutine up here in Quebec just loves it.
I've seen it get a bit more available in the states in the past few years, but it's still nowhere near accessable enough for me (because I love poutine and wish everywhere had it)
Poutines availability is mainly due to the availability of cheese curds. They have a very small shelf life so you have to be near someplace that makes cheese curds. some places in Maine use shredded cheese, but it's not the same.
As a Quebecker, I love that you went to poutine. I have the feeling that you cant get poutine easily in the southern states because of the cheese curds. You need that squeaky cheese otherwise its not the same.
Even in New England! I’m in Massachusetts and it’s very rare to find any poutine that holds up to what you get in Quebec. A lot of times places substitute for another cheese, but even if they do have curds they usually don’t have as good of a squeak. Hoping to plan a trip back to Quebec City soon!
