Whats wild is you can really see the change in his throwing mechanics from years 1&2 to 3-5. If Marcus had a playbook built around him like Lamar and stayed healthy the sky would have been the limit. Hope he dominates in ATL
As a saints fan i cant wait to see jameis va marcus marita twice a year. I believe their first games we’re against eachother and they were picked 1 and 2 overall by their starting teams. No doubt this rivalry just got spicy again
As a Ducks and Falcons die hard, I’m fkn HYPE for this season. For years I wished but never thought I’d ever see Marcus in a Falcons jersey. Be my QB1 again 🥹
I miss watching MM8 soooooo much! Nobody has more heart for the game and loves it more than Marcus! I hope he comes back from his most recent injury and can make a name for himself and get his own team. Nobody deserves it more. We miss you Marcus!
I think Mariota could be the best QBif in the right system and Arthur and him perfected that playing style our offense just went from 60 I've to like 85 with one player
Still don't understand why the titans got rid of him. At the time when he lost his starting position, titans were having o line issues, Lewan was suspended, and he was getting sacked alot! Had a terrible start to that season as a team. I really feel like if the titans would've stuck with him that season, titans still make the playoffs. Marcus has played qb most of his life, and even won the Heisman. To bench him for someone who has only played qb since college still doesn't make sense. I am writing this 4 days after a disappointing loss by the titans to the bengals.....where tannehill threw 3 pics. Just wondering what the team would be like if Vrabel would've invested more time into MM.
MM wasn't playing too well for us back then. Psychologically he just wanted there anymore. We can blame it on the 4 different OCs we had , or the different HC's but we had ruined him. Mariota confirmed it when he did an interview with a Raider journalist. When Tannehill came in, he injected new life into the team. Besides last season, Tannehill has been a top 10 QB for us. Behind Burrow, he was the second most sacked QB with hardly any healthy weapons around him. No TE either. Also, the playcalling was abysmal. The first INT was all on Tannehill but the 2nd and 3rd are highly debatable.
I Remember the year before getting benched, Marcus got blindsided and hurt his elbow (throwing arm) badly on the first game of the season smh. It affected his throwing, and yet he took his team to 9-7 and he couldn’t start the last game against doctors orders because of his health. He was getting beat up behind the OL, so he was carrying multiple injuries throughout the season. Had he played that game, Titans would’ve won and made the playoffs again. I hope he can turn things around in Atlanta.
Mariota's only downside was having three different coordinators and two different head coaches while he was at the Titans I don't see any reason why they couldn't build the system around him
This doesn’t make any sense. Why couldn’t Vrabel and Smith get any performance out of Mariota? He obviously has talent and played well off the bench in the Raiders/Chargers game this year.
I watched this ENTIRE video. I've seen over half of these plays. Regional coverage in Atlanta, I've seen my share of Titans games. I've watched Marcus Mariota, since he was at Oregon. Always liked him. It puzzles me how his career ended at Tennessee. He's better than Ryan Tannehill. Ryan Tannehill, might be a better game-manager. Plus, relying on Derrick Henry. I remember, when Marcus Mariota came in the game for an injured, Derek Carr vs. Chargers. Put on a show. Now, I've heard rumors that my Washington Football Team is very interested in him. He fit the offense, like a glove, as it favors mobile QBs, who can extend plays.
Raiders, Raiders........ What are you doing? Marcus Mariota is the answer for gettrin to the Super Bowl. If Carr goes down in the course of the season Mariota could cary us through. Tell Mariota that this season he can play one Quarter every game. Providing he will take a cut for this season to 4Mil to compensate for getting the players needed for the Defense. Don't loose Mariota!!!!!! Teets says so!
Lol that’s what made Marcus so nice. He was usually playing from behind so he led comebacks. ATL this year gonna be scary even tho the schedule tough with Mariota at the helm. Our defense this year is gonna be way better than what that Titans defense was.

Welp.. Welcome to Atl
Marcus has all the qualities and skills of a 1st String QB. He is the answer to taking the Raiders to Superbowl!!!!
Lol this didn’t age too well🤣
Lol
I miss Mariota sooo much. Now I'll have to become an Atlanta fan.
Welcome to the Atlanta Falcons Family.
@CrankItUpZay! fr but with pitts and patterson those separation passes and diving will be nice

Finally got to strut his stuff again with the Raiders tonight.
Huge fan of Mariota! His downfall was so bad man
Here afte hearing about falcons like this
He fits perfectly for steelers!

I think they gave up on him too easy aswell tannehill isn't all that great aka playoff was it 3 picks?
@@J-0K-ER right....3 terrible picks. I strongly believe that when MM gets another chance to start for an NFL team, he's gonna shine 🌞
Marcus upside is way higher then tannehill but that wanted to play it safe instead of having an X factor

Bruh Mariota is better than the potato in Tennessee rn…bengals fan here. Watching this is kind of like wow…
Right
if Mariota was in Andy Reid Offense he’d be Mahomes without all the crossbody accurate passes
As I am watching this video, Corey Davis will be missed

Marcus a better thrower

It seems like Arthur Smith is bringing the whole titans roster to the atl. Welcome all!
Falcons?
Yessir now it’s time for his career resurgence. Glad to have him. People sleep on him frfr. Dude can play
Great video bro
there is not 32 quarterbacks better than mariota💯 he better than trubisky, wentz, zach wilson, sam darnold, texans qb,
Falcons traded Matty Ice for him...not sure about that trade.
What? They trade Ryan for a 3rd pick Marcus was a free agent pick up
