Goku is acting really differently than how he usually would in this, but I think that’s because he hasn’t bumped his head in this version, so while he has the memories of Goku, his outlook on the world is that of a normal Saiyan.
That makes perfect sense because if he never bumped his head he would retain his original sayian bloodthirst. Even if he had his “old” memories that would change how his brain thinks and works! He might even actually be discussed with his previous self.
Goku seems a little bloodthirsty here. He usually doesn't talk about killing his opponents that casually. And he also doesn't ask them to kneel. I mean.. He pretty much tends to forgive his opponents after he defeats them in most cases. Aside from that, I think this is a fun idea!

People are forgetting that Goku kept his memories and powers but not his physical traits seeing as how he is a child, so he technically never hit his head in this "What if" and has kept the true Saiyan mentality of being a ruthless killer such as Vegeta when he first showed up on Earth along with the rest of the Universe 7 Saiyans, instead of the diluted version of the Saiyan mentality of just wanting to fight that he has in the true timeline.
I mean even if his nature is bloodthirsty with is body he still has all that good nurture so i dont think suddenly getting saiyan biology in ful would just rewrite his entire personality

If Goku has all of his future self memories, he knows Beerus' job and intentions, there's no way he would kill him for that; let alone this is so off character in Goku.

If not, then it is not a "what if", but a completely different timeline with a person that has a completely different personality and in that case it isn´t a "what if" because it can´t be a "what if". There are just way too many things wrong with this. Even if it's a what-if, he has so far stated that Goku remembers everything, he feels the same way as before, all he doesn't remember is Zeno. He goes from a laughing experienced martial artist suddenly to the average original saiyan, generally evil seeming wanting to kill more than fight for the fun of it, etc. Not only that, but the way Beerus acted was way out of the ball park too. Whenever Beerus wanted to find the Super Saiyan God in Battle of Gods, he only threatened to destroy Earth to get the Saiyans to come together to GET the Super Saiyan God, it was a ploy to make them act, and fast. But in this one, it's almost as if he doesn't care for a "rival" or the Super Saiyan God like normal.
Adding to previous Problems of Goku being too bloodthirsty, I have a problem with Zeno being the plan maker behind this. Zeno is almost omnipotent, because he can erase entire universes, but he isn’t omnipresent. That’s why we can have two Zenos, one from our timeline and one from trunks, timeline. If he sent him back in time then there would be a different Zeno than the one who sent him. And there would be a lot more timeline mess after it
If he was omnipresent he wouldn't do the tournament of power, cause he would already know who is the winner and that would be not funny at all for him. Obs: I misunderstanded Omnipresent with Omniscient, my bad.
Well we know that Zeno was planning to erase all of the universes anyway unless the winner made the right wish. Jiren wouldn't wish everyone back, so the only universes left would be the ones who didn't participate. Perhaps Zeno also created a new universe that was an exact replica of universe 7 before Goku was sent to Earth with the only difference being the young Goku's mind would be replaced with the original Goku. Kid Goku was fairly bloodthirsty all things considered, and in this new body he wouldn't have the head injury. Sure it's still the same Goku, but his biology would change him some.
The voice acting and story telling was great. The only issue I had with this was how Goku acted way too calmly to his situation, and how he is a lot more rude. You would think Goku would be incredibly upset at losing his whole life with his family and his friends on Earth, all that time training with Roshi and Krillin just gone. Losing his adventures with his friends, and raising his son with his family. What I would think Goku might do is solve the Freiza situation, but afterwards realise what he had lost. Goku would probably try to actively decline being a king at first, but once the loss of his past life hits him and he realised he can’t go back, he might then accept his role to forge a better future for the universe as king of the Saiyans. Goku would also probably be really confused as he should have gone to Otherworld if he did die. So he might be thinking that someone made a wish to send him back, and this would create a moral dilemma for Goku. Should he go back to his future with his family and friends, but doom the Saiyan race to be exterminated?
Goku is reborn. Never said that he is dead in the video. Since he is reborn, he never had that experience where he fell and hit his head, so there is probably a mixed personality. Also, no one can wish Goku back cuz only omni Shenron has the power to do so. Shenron on Earth has a limit, and universe 7 was already erased. The video doesn't say anything about Goku getting reborn with his personality intact, only his memories and powers. (just another reason why his personality is like this rn)

@@solecrab2133 this is just a statement, but when Goku hit his head in that pit when grandpa Gohan was alive, it changed goku’s attitude and made him more nice. Unlike every other super saiyan like Vegeta, they’re made to conquer other planets for money.

You have to keep in mind that in this hypothetical scenario while he still has his memories, he was placed in point in time before he hit his head which is the event that changed his sayian brain chemistry and made him more docile.
I think the bloodlust goku makes sense, most likely he lost that when he hit his head, so maybe when he came back his body didn't have that trauma so he would act a little different
He wouldn't be bloodlust just because he didn't hit head. Sayians arent bloodlust at nature their fierce and power hungry. No sayian is born evil and blood hungry and goku with his memories here would override any type of evil he would be feeling.

This series is very entertaining, however you really fail at capturing Goku’s character - it’s super off putting and frustrating to listen to at times.

So... I have a What if suggestion, and your content usually contains really OP versions of Goku. So without further ado, let me tell you about my What If Idea, called What If Goku was Evil, and had Broly's Potential. Basically, Goku would like Broly in the canon universe be banished to a Planet Vampa with Bardock and Gine. At first he would be the nice version of Goku like in canon. However, unlike in the canon universe he would become evil due to him finding out how King Vegeta banished him, and seek revenge. After that, I guess you can decide what happens. I hope you see my suggestion, because with your creativity and epic backstory, I think it would make a really cool with if.
If you would go so far as to make goku evil altogether he would just be broly from the dbz movies instead of the one from super he would just get the cheat book opened up to him alot faster as broly from z had limitless potential but was not pushed hard enough to seek it unlike broly from super who was constantly fighting uphill unlike broly from z who basically was garentted (sorry for the misspelling) a win but fumbled due to plot.

My honest opinion on this: It’s stupid. This isn’t Goku and it isn’t how Goku would act. If it’s Goku’s soul from the future then clearly he would be exactly the same and not different because this one didn’t bump his head. Also you must remember Saiyans have been retconned to not be blood thirsty but a strong warrior race under King Cold and Friezas control meaning Goku could’ve still ended up as Goku even if he didn’t hit his head.
Like…at what point does obsession with power fantasy and power creep become vectors for awful storytelling? It’s like a never ending pissing contest of “who can become the most overpowered thing ever.” Like I get it’s an action manga but there are more interesting ways to tell stories that have them revolve around the most busted characters, Dragonball for me is the series best writing, the supporting cast felt relevant, and it took more than plot armor and/or raw brute strength for characters to resolve conflicts. The pursuit of that power trip devalues like every other character who can’t physically keep up with these Superman clones. One punch man brilliantly showcases the downsides in indulging too hard in tropes, but idk that’s just my opinion.

The way the story was written kind of sucks if you ask me. There’s so much backstory that feels like should’ve been here but wasn’t there’s so much more interesting dialogue that could’ve been written but wasn’t input. And Goku was saying stupid things that he would never say whoever wrote this has the brain of a toddler

I feel like Goku would think hes in some dream state and once realizing hes in the past would instantly go to the Kai's for their help and how to approach whis and beerus without upsetting them and risking being erased. He probably wouldnt care about any of the Frieza, Cold ,and Saiyan shenanigans too much deducing this isn't his timeline and would instead just try to seek help to go back to his present. No way he would waste time fighting jobbers knowing the tournament of power is ongoing without him and his universe is in grave danger.

Only a few hours ago he was too forgiving and tolerant and nothing I saw indicated that there would be a reason for his personality to change so radically in just a few hours. Edit - After watching more, it also makes no sense that Whis has no recollection of the future either, since Angels are exempt from the Universal erasure. Or that Universe 7 is still around to begin with. And also, Beerus should be asleep by this point. He didn't wake up until Battle of Gods, a long time later. There are just way too many things wrong with this. Even if it's a what-if, he has so far stated that Goku remembers everything, he feels the same way as before, all he doesn't remember is Zeno. He has no reason to kill Beerus. Whis should have memories of Goku.

He goes from a laughing experienced martial artist suddenly to the average original saiyan, generally evil seeming wanting to kill more than fight for the fun of it, etc. Not only that, but the way Beerus acted was way out of the ball park too. Whenever Beerus wanted to find the Super Saiyan God in Battle of Gods, he only threatened to destroy Earth to get the Saiyans to come together to GET the Super Saiyan God, it was a ploy to make them act, and fast. But in this one, it's almost as if he doesn't care for a "rival" or the Super Saiyan God like normal.
Adding to previous Problems of Goku being too bloodthirsty, I have a problem with Zeno being the plan maker behind this. Zeno is almost omnipotent, because he can erase entire universes, but he isn’t omnipresent. That’s why we can have two Zenos, one from our timeline and one from trunks, timeline. If he sent him back in time then there would be a different Zeno than the one who sent him. And there would be a lot more timeline mess after it
If he was omnipresent he wouldn't do the tournament of power, cause he would already know who is the winner and that would be not funny at all for him.
Obs: I misunderstanded Omnipresent with Omniscient, my bad.
Well we know that Zeno was planning to erase all of the universes anyway unless the winner made the right wish. Jiren wouldn't wish everyone back, so the only universes left would be the ones who didn't participate. Perhaps Zeno also created a new universe that was an exact replica of universe 7 before Goku was sent to Earth with the only difference being the young Goku's mind would be replaced with the original Goku.
Kid Goku was fairly bloodthirsty all things considered, and in this new body he wouldn't have the head injury. Sure it's still the same Goku, but his biology would change him some.
Zeno being omni present would also beg the question why he didn't stop Zamasu in Trunks' timeline.
The voice acting and story telling was great.
The only issue I had with this was how Goku acted way too calmly to his situation, and how he is a lot more rude.
You would think Goku would be incredibly upset at losing his whole life with his family and his friends on Earth, all that time training with Roshi and Krillin just gone. Losing his adventures with his friends, and raising his son with his family.
What I would think Goku might do is solve the Freiza situation, but afterwards realise what he had lost.
Goku would probably try to actively decline being a king at first, but once the loss of his past life hits him and he realised he can’t go back, he might then accept his role to forge a better future for the universe as king of the Saiyans.
Goku would also probably be really confused as he should have gone to Otherworld if he did die. So he might be thinking that someone made a wish to send him back, and this would create a moral dilemma for Goku.
Should he go back to his future with his family and friends, but doom the Saiyan race to be exterminated?

Goku is reborn. Never said that he is dead in the video. Since he is reborn, he never had that experience where he fell and hit his head, so there is probably a mixed personality. Also, no one can wish Goku back cuz only omni Shenron has the power to do so. Shenron on Earth has a limit, and universe 7 was already erased.
The video doesn't say anything about Goku getting reborn with his personality intact, only his memories and powers. (just another reason why his personality is like this rn)

You have to keep in mind that in this hypothetical scenario while he still has his memories, he was placed in point in time before he hit his head which is the event that changed his sayian brain chemistry and made him more docile.

I think the bloodlust goku makes sense, most likely he lost that when he hit his head, so maybe when he came back his body didn't have that trauma so he would act a little different

Goku has Ultra Instinct Omen, it'll be an interesting fight. Beerus loves to threaten loved ones to get a rise out of his rivals. Please make a part 4

Goku understands this far too quickly, and is far far too ruthless and bloodthirsty. Immediately killing Frieza without giving him time to surrender. Goku would also never, literally EVER want to be the king. Its not really Goku at this point. He also laughed at Cold killing hundreds of relatively innocent people

So... I have a What if suggestion, and your content usually contains really OP versions of Goku. So without further ado, let me tell you about my What If Idea, called What If Goku was Evil, and had Broly's Potential. Basically, Goku would like Broly in the canon universe be banished to a Planet Vampa with Bardock and Gine. At first he would be the nice version of Goku like in canon. However, unlike in the canon universe he would become evil due to him finding out how King Vegeta banished him, and seek revenge. After that, I guess you can decide what happens. I hope you see my suggestion, because with your creativity and epic backstory, I think it would make a really cool with if.
That’s a little like what if he was locked in the time chamber for millennia but weaker the story would be pretty good though
If you would go so far as to make goku evil altogether he would just be broly from the dbz movies instead of the one from super he would just get the cheat book opened up to him alot faster as broly from z had limitless potential but was not pushed hard enough to seek it unlike broly from super who was constantly fighting uphill unlike broly from z who basically was garentted (sorry for the misspelling) a win but fumbled due to plot.

Heck King Vegeta wouldn't make him king, we saw how he'd react to a larger power than his son and he'd react by giving them exile.

If it’s Goku’s soul from the future then clearly he would be exactly the same and not different because this one didn’t bump his head. Also you must remember Saiyans have been retconned to not be blood thirsty but a strong warrior race under King Cold and Friezas control meaning Goku could’ve still ended up as Goku even if he didn’t hit his head.

Like…at what point does obsession with power fantasy and power creep become vectors for awful storytelling? It’s like a never ending pissing contest of “who can become the most overpowered thing ever.” Like I get it’s an action manga but there are more interesting ways to tell stories that have them revolve around the most busted characters, Dragonball for me is the series best writing, the supporting cast felt relevant, and it took more than plot armor and/or raw brute strength for characters to resolve conflicts. The pursuit of that power trip devalues like every other character who can’t physically keep up with these Superman clones. One punch man brilliantly showcases the downsides in indulging too hard in tropes, but idk that’s just my opinion.

The way the story was written kind of sucks if you ask me. There’s so much backstory that feels like should’ve been here but wasn’t there’s so much more interesting dialogue that could’ve been written but wasn’t input. And Goku was saying stupid things that he would never say whoever wrote this has the brain of a toddler
