    Hi, thanks for the video but why did you used the lighter?

      Using the lighter helps get rid of micro bubbles in the resin.

    I am loving the Print then Cut. I am having trouble getting micro bubbles on the print then cut vinyl sticker I place on the acrylic vinyl. I am useing the lighter, but it does not remove the tiny bubbles on the vinyl part, just the bubbles on the acrylic part. Never had trouble getting bubbles out before I started useing the print then cut vinyl. Thank you for any help.

      Bonnie, thank you for your comment! When you apply the resin, are you applying it directly from the bottle? Or do you pour it into another container and apply it from there? I also use a tool with a long point (similar to what’s in this weeding kit from Amazon, but I got mine from Harbor Freight). I usually run the point through the resin and get the bubbles all to one area, close to the edge. Also, make sure your resin isn’t too cold. I keep mine at at least 68°F because I noticed I get more microbubbles if it’s colder than that. Please let me know if I can be of any help!

      @@Rockin_J_Creations I pour it right out of the UV resin bottle. I was told that the printable vinyl is pourous and thats whats causing the micro bubbles. Do you agree? I will try warming it a little before useing it and the moving the bubbles to one side. Maybe that will help. I sure appreciate your help.

      @@bonnieracus396 the printable vinyl is porous so that can lead to some bubbles. How long are you letting the vinyl cure before you apply the resin? Definitely try warming it a bit and see if that helps. You might also want to let the vinyl cure for at least 12 hours before applying the resin. Please keep me updated on your progress!

      @@bonnieracus396 another thing to try to prevent microbubbles is to laminate the top of the printable vinyl. Also, I’ve noticed more bubbles the emptier my bottle is so I flip it upside down and store it that way once I get down to about 1/4 of a bottle.

    Hi there, I am new to Cricut and is having a really hard time. I bought blanks and svg files from moxie vinyl but for the life of me having trouble uploading, trouble in cricut design space and printing the file. Is this something you could show me?

      Kimmy,
      Absolutely! I have also used Moxie blanks and they are uploaded the same way as Zindee. Give me a bit and I’ll do a video for you. I’m in the middle of preparing for a wedding and my son’s 18th birthday so when I have time, I’ll do it!

    Hi! Thank u so much for sharing. Would u say it’s easier to use printable vinyl or water slide paper??

    • @Rockin_J_Creations
      @Rockin_J_Creations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally I think it’s easier to use printable vinyl. With waterslide you can still see through it so unless you put vinyl on the back, it’s difficult to see the design. Having said that, I’ve used two kinds of waterslides and one was more transparent while the other was cloudy looking.

    Hi, thank you so much for sharing! What type of printer do you have? And what type of paper do you use? Sorry for all the questions but I love this! The last time I put UV resin on a sticker it bleed through. Your finished product looks Amazing!!! 😍

      Tawana,
      Thanks for the questions! I have an HP DeskJet 2640. It’s a very inexpensive model but works great! I get my paper from Amazon (link below).
      Once printed, I let my prints set for about an hour before applying to my blank and putting UV resin on. I’ve had no issues with bleeding.
      Feel free to ask any questions!
      Thank you!!
