Poodles are a working dog--a water retriever!! Daniel may have believed he was to guard and "watch over" his guardian...Poodles (all the sizes), are wonderful, smart and active partners, who somewhat like BORDER COLLIES, need a job and a RESPONSIBILITY!! If their brilliant brain is not nourished with responsibility, it can get them inyo trouble, "over-thinking" and takung on job(s) that are not really their problem!!

My gorgeous wolfhound X ridgeback was like Daniel...however when he was distressed due to separation anxiety he would destroy things that belonged to me...never anyone elses stuff only mine.
I had to let him go to heaven a few months ago at the very old age of 14(extreme age for his breed).
Miss my Marshal dreadfully.
Daniel obviously suffers with separation anxiety but he also has a deep abiding love for this lady.....we are very lucky people when we experience such devotion from an animal XXX

I might do this to our youngest doggo. She just barks like crazy when my brother goes out and I'm inside my room where she can't see me. She even goes berserk and looks for something to chew and destroy. 😭
