The birth of Kiri. In these scene we can also see that the Tree of Souls darkens after the death of Grace, a similar behaviour to the Spirit Tree of Metkayina when Kiri interacts with her mother. It's interesting how Eywa functions and the fact that it's not explained in details, but in a mystical way.
So with the extended scene you see that a lot of time passes for this process (moons/planets, clouds passing overhead) so this does well to show that Eywa could have been seeing Grace's consciousness and memories and learning about Earth, and therefore setting up plans for the future. This would have to be the moment that Kiri was planted in her avatar because after this scene Grace's avatar was placed back in the tube. Disconnected from Eywa. This is Kiri's conception.

The one main thing that I felt didn't make much sense about Avatar was the fact that they said their civilization has been around longer than humans have, yet in all of that time they haven't progressed at all in technology? Like I understand their desire to keep to traditions and to stay connected with nature, but even simple things like metal tools and weapons for hunting instead of still using wood bows and arrows?? Like they don't need to be using computers and cell phones but at least quality of life improvements for the way they do things...
They just didn’t have a desire to🤷🏻♀️ their whole society is based around being balanced with nature. Like Neytiri specifically states how eywa doesn’t take sides- and how she only protects the balance of life. I feel like that desire to “progress” in the way you’re talking about comes from a place of wanting to conquer or dominate your environment, which is think is a really human thing that’s not really a part of the Na’vi. You have to remember that even tho they are intelligent and humanoid- they aren’t human. Their brains are nothing like ours, so they literally don’t think like us. And even if they actually were like people, and they did want to advance in technology etc. I’m sure eventually eywa would strike them down, just like she did to the humans who were throwing off the balance of life! Lol this was long but yeah- this is my answer to your question, but who knows haha I could be way off😂😂
@@brendanmorin9935 I mean, you can argue that maybe that one central being might control their will to a certain degree, but you already see how easy it was for one of them to want something that is completely different from tradition. Knowing that is possible it's hard to argue that in the more than 200,000 years (the amount of time humans have existed) none of them would have wanted to do something different? And I'm not talking about anything drastic, just like HOW their normal things are done. Like their spears for hunting, instead of tying a stone spear head onto a wood stick, they could develop like a polymer stick with a steel head. It's used exactly the same so it's not like their way of life would change, but it would simply last longer, be more consistent, and be more efficient. Things like that. Like they can maintain their way of life and being balanced with the planet and nature, but just find new ways to make doing those things easier or more efficient.
Ken45 I feel like the root of the answer is just that they didn’t need to🤷🏻♀️ if what they are doing is working then there is no real need to find something better. As humans I think we are always looking for something better, something more efficient- and that’s part of why we were so successful as a species. And that’s literally programmed into our dna. I can’t stress how important it is to remember that just bc they are intelligent, doesn’t mean they think like humans do. And that doesn’t make them any less than us, it just makes them different. Ik I already said that, but I don’t think you’re really understanding what I’m saying- and maybe it’s bc I’m not explaining it well. Because that is your answer lol😂 and I didn’t mean that eywa controls their will, but I’m saying that if the Na’vi somehow progressed like humans did as far as technology is conserned- then eventually it would throw off the balance of life and Eywa would be forced to take action against them. The same way how our own technology has advanced us so far, but is also killing our planet- and throwing off earths natural balance. I hope this makes sense
@@brendanmorin9935 I do understand what you're saying, and I was actually saying that Eywa controlling their will would be the ONLY sensible explanation. The fact that Neytiri decides to go against their tradition after knowing this guy for a few months or however long it was proves they are all capable of individual thought and decisions. There's absolutely no way an entire population can go hundreds of thousands of years where everyone just sticks to traditions for tradition's sake and none of them decided to try something different. Literally zero chance. You can't just group them all as "they" and say "well 'they' didn't want to" as if "they" all thought exactly alike...
Ken45 That is a grand assumption. You are basing that assumption off of humans in what you know. It’s unreasonable to think that there is no way any civilization couldn’t stick to a tradition for thousands or more amount of years. Just because humans cant do that doesn’t mean there isn’t a civilization that can. They didn’t progress in technology and everything else because it wasn’t something that they needed. Their way of life worked for them and they kept at it. Humans unfortunately had to progress in that way due to a lot of things like disease, expansion and whatever else. Also humans don’t think in totality like them. Every human on this planet believe something different at least in this culture they all believed in the same God and in the same traditions so why would they need to change anything about that? You can’t even get a group of humans to agree on something simple let alone one religion or tradition.

In animated movies, or movies utilising CGI, they tend to use rough, placeholder models in early drafts of the scene.
1:27 It's an eye.
After learning so much about my ancestry, I understand why this is my fav movie. This is afrikan/Kongo culture. They know us.. They know who we are.. That scene is initiation and passage.. If you are a black hebrew who knows, you know
Well that’s good to know. I’m only really familiar with the Native American inspired aspects of the Navi culture.
@@Rainbowhawk1993 they came from Kongo. It's the heart of old Aethiopia /hawilah. Unobtanium/vibranium in black panther is only in East Africa, and tree of souls is also a tree native to Africa called the sycamore fig , those movie makers know us. They know that's why they enslaved our people.. Only us, not other blacks
This is basically every culture on the planet that was colonised by the imperialists.
@@chosenbyyah6379 that tree literally doesn’t grow like that no where in this world.. shut up for once
Faith realized must be a beautiful thing
You mean this was a deleted scene? I am being bombarded with those "Deleted Scenes" Videos from Avatar. But I have seen all of them in the movie I bought in 2009
Honestly the deleted scenes are the ones missing
Ohhhh this would have been REALLY cool fleshed out all the way.
Remind me not to watch this while high...
Wow, I've gotta get me some of that Na'vi Kush.
The thumbnail 💀
I love you moat avatar sence so much
‘Deleted scene’
Editors: SO I DID ALL THAT FOR NOTHING?
There is another scene deleted that is where they sit with eywa and exchange energy having hands together. If you knnow where to find it I would be very happy! Thank you for this one!
The zoom out at 1:26 looked like an eye it might symbolise that the tree of souls is the eye to Eywa or that Eywa sees all (I mean she obviously does)
I believe Eywa is their interpretation of ‘The Great Mother’ archetypal figure who is of essence, Mother Nature itself. It will be interesting to see if Eywa is a Deity or a Conscious Root system that has evolved on pandora.
Whoa never see this before the tree of soul
They added some of the scene but not all of the scene it really fits the title”eye of eyes”
Fun fact; Eywa is actually a biological SuperComputer
I actually see this part but without the blurry thing and stuff
dude if i was jake and lost someone like grace......i'd never recover. i don't think he ever did. sigh.
He mostly spent his time on Pandora in his avatar with Na'vi people and not so long happened before he was permanently transferred since he still was 22 so he doesn't know her that much, it's not like he has known her for 10 years...
1:25 the Eye of Eywa
Wayching way of the water, Kiri is tiny jesus
Eiwa shouldn't use Windows. The system crashed in a critical moment.
Hahaha! Eiywa should use Linux instead!
Eywa is Linux or Windows, maybe a mix of 'em.
If the entire planet ran on linux I would switch sides too
this is a fever dream
They should have left this scene
i'd consider this a nefarious move.
I remember this scenee
"let her walk... AMONG US"
See when it zooms out it looks like an eye
What's the director cut here? Cause I've seen this entire same scene in the Cinema last friday
In case you don't know the re-release adds some scenes.
cortar a dança do ritual eu entendo mas esse final pqp eu ia me arrepiar todo
Tu viu o olho de eywa?
The soundtrack is similar to Apocalypto
where can i take thats tree?
is it? the animation quality looks different....
In animated movies, or movies utilising CGI, they tend to use rough, placeholder models in early drafts of the scene. It helps them get a general sense for how the scene will play out, character placements, movements, etc., before the animators go in and refine it a finished product, seen in the clips that actually made it into the film.
Kiri was probably created here by Eywa
This is in the OG movie though💀 the one on dvd and the on released in the movies
This scene is in the movie
I think, Eywa are the Sauron reincarnation
😵💫 you make me deezy
It wasn’t deleted
it's not deleted it's in the movie
I have one question. WHY DID THEY DELETE THIS 😭?!
Because they did it in the extended version
that isn’t a deleted scene-
Huh? Is isn't deleted for me
wdym this scene is included when i watched the movie
It’s not deleted
This isnt deleted-
It look like a cutscene from video game
Bro this is actually in the movie- this jsnt a deleted scene-
1:25 looks like the eye of horus...or the pineal gland 😉.---> Vision of the Third Eye ancient mystery channel
So they are like Zerg swarm
AMONG US
Nobody is gonna mention that the title is lying
It’s not when they zoom out you can see something that resembles an eye.
Let her walk (among us) the game
its all matrix :D end of the last movie will see everythink was a similation or somethink :D
This isn’t a deleted scene??? It’s in avatar 1
It is. Or did you not watch the video?
@@aloysimp962 i did watch the video..?
@@joy-vs6qp okay. Then let me explain. The shot were the camera zooms out is not in the movie and you may noticed that the scene where we can see the planet looks unfinished. The rest of the scene is in the movie.
@@aloysimp962 oh, okay ty for explaining.
@@joy-vs6qp no problem 👍
And that is when a scientist believes in the existence of God.
More like mass hive intelligence
yeah like after smoking weed only
It's not a god, the whole planet is like a big brain. A consciousness called Eywa.
That's not god as god don't exist - she's only connected here to the planets plant life.
Indeed but at that moment she wasn’t believing in a god from Earth. She believed in Ewya, the god from Pandora.
Same scene from congo
among us
i was looking for this comment
👍🏻
Among us💀
Tá posuida
If that is true then why is the animation from the cut scenes so low quality?
It's not rendered to full quality
Oldmanjinkins/Skyrim even so, it looks more fan made then professional
@@Michplay the template doesn't have to be "professional", it just needs to be a basic outline so they can come in and fully render it and give it the best detail as possible.
Because it’s not fully animated
You know that before rendering anything we have to make a rough animation
