I suffer from ataxia for nearly ten years. I have been gathering events that actually worsen my symptoms. I have found that heat in general is bad for my ataxia. Heat from an oven or a cooker or just a summer’s day. So I avoid cooking or going to the beach on a sunny day. Also, I avoid alcohol, caffeine and food with nitrates like sausages. Something strange I have found it is that I feel in control of my body in long flights in airplanes like travelling for more than five hours at high altitud. I think has to do with the atmospheric pressure. So I try to look for places low in pressure and temperature. No beaches for me.

for I can relate to so much of your talk especially about going down it's a tiredness that I have never felt before I just zone out and fall into a deep sleep

Please talk about what symptoms you are actually dealing with so we can understand better what you are dealing with.

Hereditary for me. Oh well. Balance, or lack of it, sucks.
