This is such an underestimated scene. Where lian song is basically DH's wingman. Si Ming is FJ's wingman....low key match making from the start.
DH fails his test so its si ming that comes up with the brilliant idea for FJ to take one for the team by dating him. At the wedding he is giving FJ's PR talk like, "she went to the mortal realm around the time you did....she lost someone there....she has the same name as your ex and likes to trick people...and runs out on engagements.....is this ringing a bell DH?". I think DH remembered but was shocked at the wedding. In this scene Si Ming is basically exposing FJ to DH again, in a "she has intimate knowledge of your personality, guess why". It clearly pleased DH to see she knew him. It should have been a reunion moment "sorry had to fake my death,nice to see you again". FJ exposed herself in that moment only to deny it by lying to his face cause she didn't want him blaming her and she doesn't know he knows. Yeah I think DH knows and he knows she knows as well but she is trying to trick him (like she tries to after the dream of aranya). He is simply playing along. His ex is gaslighting him "I don't know you from adam, we never happened". Let the bullying begin.🤣 The pat on si Ming's shoulder is very "thanks for exposing her, I needed the confirmation, thanks man". 😂🤣

He noticed and he is keeping you.🤣 He has all the patience in the world. You'll have to face him sooner or later. And then you'll need to explain why you turned into that handkerchief. And when he manipulated her into showing herself. He had no intention of letting her go cause he "retrieved" his handkerchief after that. He pretended to sleep so she would end up in bed with him when she turned back. He did that on purpose cause that was what Xuanren wanted as well. He just wanted to be in bed with her in his arms. 😏🙄🤣 And bringing her along for the fight with yan was just him trying to impress her...to outqingti qingti. He had no intention to fight yan from the start...instead he tricked him into doing chores for him.😂🤣 But that was an opportunity to try and impress her.....it backfired and he got his trauma of watching the love of his life fall to her death triggered when she fell again. Also taking his handkerchief to make fish....again he tried to impress her magically swinging the knife while looking at his handkerchief. But what he doesn't know....yeah she is very familiar with your cooking...ya suck at it. 😂🤣

Most of his tricks to impress her went very wrong.... Yes watching her to fall from heaven to Earth wasn’t easy one as he was not sure about her surviving this fall with tiangong shield.... But still he did wait half a year to go coz of dark energy thing but one thing really didn’t get that he could use mirror to know about her condition in Valley....

This immortal fairy that likes to trick people and string guys along seeked him out to mess with his head/heart. He was a simping lovesick fool for this girl. She strung him along making his life a misery. She started it, he is just continuing it thats all. He flipped the board. But where Xuanren wasn't aware she knew more then she let on. Now FJ isn't aware he knows.😈
Sleeping with his handkerchief: I heard a guy online say that "cleaning his sword" could also mean something else...its a reason to sleep with a handkerchief.😳🤯 As a woman I hadn't thought of that (and neither did FJ). Personally my mind isn't permanently in the gutter so I hadn't thought of that one. I am going to assume that wasn't the threat he had in mind. Innocent little FJ assumed it was his actual weapon he was talking about as well...so I assumed that as well. But...wasn't he talking with lian song about his assistant cleaning his sword just before he found his handkerchief? 🤨 He made his sword too elaborately cause he had too much time on his hands and it was a pain to clean now. So why clean a sword twice? 🤔🙈🙉🙊
The funny thing about these 2 is that FJ...most of the time anyways...knows exactly what he is playing at. 🤣 The ice..."ya planned to catch me right". Yes he did.😄 Also the ward has nothing to do with training.🤨 And she knew he was getting hurt on purpose. He hasn't lost a drop of blood but all of a sudden 1 female demon hurts him....suuuuuure. She doesn't know he is still Xuanren so she assumes its cause he is bored. Nope he LOVED xiaojiu treating his wound as Xuanren..its how he fell in love. He hasn't had anyone pamper him in life. He just wants to be taken care of by the woman he loves...show a little love and affection girl. Same goes for being sick from the rain. Both after the rain and after she just woke up he "gets dizzy" and clingy. He just wants to hug her and uses that as an excuse. Also when FJ asks him why he didn't push her away. He said he thought it rare she threw herself at him making a fool of herself. Its rare cause as Xuanren he non stop made a fool out of himself throwing himself at her and getting shot down constantly. DH remembers being the lovesick fool for her...its why he isn't simping now. The big difference between DH and Xuanren is DH maned up. Instead of telling qingti to protect her...HE protects her. He isn't obeying parents either. He is in control here...he wants her so he is getting her. And he isn't openly simping but trying to be the one in control of that relationship as well. He has some control issues going on. Like when she told him to sit next to him so she could treat his wound. He makes her come to him instead. Its the difference between him asking her to help him. And her voluntaring to take care of him. Big difference from a simping point of view. He isn't going to simp after her. No one respects a man who doesn't respect himself. No one wants to be with a guy without a spine...a pushover. Like FJ said herself, she doesn't want a weak guy but someone like Qingti. As Xuanren he was new at the whole love/women/relationship thing. But as DH he learned from Qingti. 😏😄 Also when she steps out on you, the response shouldn't be "she doesn't know my heart"...lets simp harder. She knows your heart sweetie, she doesn't want it. As DH, instead of simping...basically begging her to like him more. Instead he strategically fights the competition. And telling her she crossed a boundery...he isn't happy with her treatment of him. She made him sad and he wants to calmly and respectfully discuss that with her. 👍👏 Its her option to either admit she likes him and explain her treatment of the other guys. Or admit she likes the other guy and set DH free instead of stringing him along. Mature and emotionally intelligent. 😘👍👏

Cleaning sward with handkerchief can be used as this never knew!!! According to FJ he was talking about cleaning his sward & I also thought so!!! Poor fairy got entangled by her own magic art was another part must say..... One thing I wanna understand that the one casted the spell to transform has to undo it or DH could undo it anytime???!!! Why he had to wait her transforming back to fairy self to take over by DH??? Though he was cherishing her birthmark before taking over the hankie game, seemed like he wanted to have a close look to it & he was waiting for that.
Yes DH is the mature version of Xuaren who wants to get into her bed,loves to cling to her,loves to get treated /cared by her..... It was very much clear in finyle valley & Arayna's dream, wounded & dizzy after rain were his drama to be taken care & getting attention of hers.... The way she opened up in girls' festival, he did open up after rain thing but his jealousy couldn’t stop there so he needed more to ensure his position in her life that's why he didn’t wait for their wedding to proceed in....
