I got a Mission Cyrus One in the late 80's then replaced it with a Cyrus 3i around 1990, later added a Power to biamp. 24 years or so later it's still going strong - good to see Cyrus entering a new era, I think they have once again managed to move forward without losing their unique design DNA. @@PursuitPerfectSystem I’d like to see one open. I had a full Cyrus system with PSX-R’s. We are going back almost 20 years. It was an 8s2, with Cyrus tuner and CD player. I very much liked it but the problem was thermal shut down at prolonged higher volume. When the amplifier eventually failed I sold the rest off. There is only so much passive cooling a tiny case can do even with the casing acting as sink. Obviously not an issue with class D and for example the ONE Cast, one of my amplifiers. It positively thunders along in comparison. Other than that I love the Cyrus sound of their legacy products. Thanks for the review Terry.
