Chithue limited tenure shouldn't be more than 10 years, as similar to Sikyong's tenure.

Parliamentarian tenure should be limited to 4 years … and education qualifications of chithue should be upgraded.
Indeed . In the parliament sessions they discuss about the qualifications of the judges now and then. So it is only natural that they also discuss about the tenure and the qualifications of the members of parliament.

All MP and speaker needs to have minimum qualifications of Bachelor degree on any field. And all monk and layman should have equal vote
Also they should change after two terms . The longer Chitue stays the more problematic they creat rather then serving the community…

Unless laymen can’t perform the duties of monks, they definitely can not get the rights to vote for monk MP. The laymen enjoy blissful nectar in terms of worldly means of having wife, family and so on. And want to get the rights of those celibate monks. Then it’s the most paradox of the century for Tibetans .

The beginning part where Geshe Monlam triggered Chitue Dawa punki by blaming him as the main conspiracy creator is missing. If Geshe Monlam has not blamed Dawa punki by his name, I don’t think Dawa punki will say this. ‘spy’

It is extremely heart breaking with the situation regarding our parliamentarians situation.
All the members must be except to keep the confidentialities and respect all the necessary information must keep well.
It is unfortunate that, the session is not held, it is disturbing to see the live itself, the members are taking sides, delivering anger out.
The security could have handled the situation more on professional level to.

Gurmey la thank you for the coverage! This is the consequence of us not taking the election and voting seriously. We all have the bare the consequences learn from the mistakes and make sure we elect right candidates the next time. Whatever done is done, for now we can only do damage control!
Well interviewed by VOT. Tsoktso is not performing his responsibility well at all till now. He always did unfair with the Dhomae and Utsang (9) Chithue. He supports and letting more time to Dhotoe and Chokyue Chithue to speak during Laerim Namshag. He listens always well to them only and never let others Chithue to speak their during Larrim Namshag. Tsoktso, Dhotoe and Chokyue are the main culprits responsible for stopping this session meeting and all other controversies made and made all Tibetan all over the world disappointed till now.
Best thing would be if the parliamentarian’s education qualifications are upgraded to modern education and kick all the fake monks from the post . The monks should be send back to their respective monasteries…

Game is not over but we are moving towards there. First of all, people should stop using His Holiness’ s name. This current issue and all the past problems we witnessed since last many years are the result of the rift between two groups. I don’t see any resolution that would fix this issue and any future problems that might arise. Both the group see each other as enemy, some may disagree but that is exactly how they treat each other. Our real enemy who occupied our land and people are now enjoying the predicament that we are now in. Our real Enemy is in the process the final stage of policy to eliminate of Tibet and Tibetan people, yet here we are again so petty and ignorant.
Public opinion is important but public with no education & experience should not discharge their emotion-it's dangerous!

In USA, EUROPE, Australia many tibetan living directly under their respective country govt. So in India it is imposible to lead our tibetan exile govt democratically. So better our exile govt dismantle it. Then Khampa can live their own community, and Uetsang Uetsang, Amdo with Amdo, Ngari with ngari. Easy bitzy. We are refugee, if you have certain country Citizenship then good for them.

Hmm. actively participating in Tibetan politic is so exhausting. not participating would be morally wrong as a Tibetan Refugeeee. Everyone should wake up in the morning and remind themselves that we are still a refugee despite having economical comfort. and also reflecting on the current problem this is totally out publics control. 10 members of the MP are from the religious sect and they have the most control of the democracy, if one takes a deeper look. But the monks in the monastery are quite when there is a problem in the society but at the same time they have 12 voting ballet which makes them the most powerful participant in democracy. So are we really practicing healthy democracy. I think the monks in the monastery should all actively participate. We need the monks and nuns opinion. Public opinions seems baseless as we don't have much power compare to monks and nuns in this situation.

Tibetan habit of being polite has deprived the Speaker of essential tools for parliamentary procedure: sergeants-at-arm, marshals, Rules Clerk . So what works for other parliaments should work for TPiE. The Speaker is respecting the Chitue's value of expression and curbing it drastically can have unintended consequences of hiding unpleasant facts but why reinvent the wheel? A modification of Robert's Rules of Order should solve such problems.
Another humble suggestiont: when a group seeking to amend the constitution waves HH the Dalai Lama's photo to hide the fact that they do not have a written resolution submitted in accordance with the constitution then they should seek His Holiness's permission. Also if Gaden Phodrang lets Tibetans know its position on any future political movement or constitutional amendment then we who follow His Holiness would know how to react--right now anybody can claim to speak for His Holiness!
