Hi I hope you see my comment. When I was ages 5-11 years old we went to Sauble Beach every year with happy and wonderful memories. Viewing your video actually brought happy tears. We would camp in a tent at the Provincial park and eventually got a trailer. We always went to Sauble Falls looking for crayfish. Sauble Beach was the best memory for me during my childhood. So glad this video popped up today.⛱
I'm so jealous. This looks beautiful. I wouldn't have guessed it is Ontario. That is a surprise. I am planning to get over there in the next year. Great inspiration
I've been to Wasaga Beach when I was in high school a few times. Great times. I heard Sauble beach but I have not yet visited. I so ashamed to live in Toronto and have not explored much of Ontario. Those other falls look beautiful. Wow!!!
I never heard of this beach, I only know the one in Toronto whne I go lol. Looks so beautiful I will have to visit next time if I have time. And I want ice cream too!
the time me and my friend went there the waves were HUGE!!! and whenever a wave came we dove through it and then you come out you belly flop on the water because the wave bought you so high up
I just posted a video of my friends and I at Sauble beach!! It was a fun experience. After we drove an hour to Tobermory which was sooo beautiful, so if you ever go to Sauble beach go to Tobermory after to visit the grotto & get a boat ride to flower pot island. It's so beautiful im still in awe! :D
We couldn't agree more! Tobermory is spectacular. From Flowerpot Island to Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five Marine Park, there is so much to see and do there! In fact we will be heading there as the last stop in a northern Ontario camping trip in a few weeks!
They are pretty awesome little dudes :) And its absolutely possible to have amazing adventures when you have kids. In fact, it sometimes makes them even better!
I think the real reply you are looking for is: it's cold.... really cold. If you come in July, you might get lucky and the temperature would be bearable. It's still beautiful though.
@@meheem I think your thinking of Georgian Bay thats a deep cold lake, but Sauble is on Huron Lake and its really comfortable for me and i'm in in my seventh decade, and hate cold water lol.
@@WanderingWagars If you are with them all the time then it's alright, but lots of people go there and allow their 8 and under kids to run around on the sharp rocks or get swept away or jump off the ledges into the small pools. It's pretty easy to get hurt here, especially as a kid. I know first hand.
We've got amazing beaches! Ontario alone is home to the two longest freshwater beaches in the world. We might not have the ocean, but we make up for it in other ways :)
Sauble is a great beach. Just know that in the summer the beach is packed. You need to stake out your area early in the day. It's less busy further north and away from the main drag. Still it's an awesome place to kick back and go easy for while. Morning and late day beach walks are the best.
Absolutely, this beach gets jammed. Not as much as Wasaga, but still very busy. I highly recommend heading away from the main street where things are quieter.
same! There's that calm before the storm at the beginning of May where you can walk along the beach, the shops are just starting to open on weekends. Nothing like it!
@@WanderingWagars The Town and First Nation, has decided not to allow cars on the First Nation side of the beach which should make a lot more room for visitors. I love to see familys on the beach it was made for little ones. Love your video.
@@trishmarloe5640 Thanks Trish! I updated that information on our blog post but forgot to add it here. I think the decision to remove the car's from the beach was a smart one.
The beach driving was a few years ago when the beach nearly disappeared due to high water levels. There’s lots of parking nearby for those who don’t mind walking a block.
This is the first time I have viewed one of your videos. I love your presentation. It embodies subtle passion and draws the viewer in. Well done!
Thanks for the kind words!
I visit my sister who lives in the Dufferin area a few times every summer & we visit Sauble Beach every year. We love it!
Amazing! It’s such a wonderful spot

Oh this looks really really nice! Love your drone footage guys!

Sounds amazing! You'll love it here!
Wow we always picture Canada as being cold but it looks great on that beach!
You definitely won't think it's cold if you come here in the summer :)
I want to go to Ontario....I need to seriously book a ticket. Look at that water! I would drive the extra hour for sure!
wouldn't waste your money
Looks gorgeous! I love all your aerial shots!
Thanks so much!
This is so beautiful! It reminds me of the beaches in Pensacola, FL (where I live now)!
And on top of being a great beach that it's also completely fresh water
What a beautiful looking place. We didn't make it over there on our last trip but definitely next time. Those falls look amazing!
I didn't expect there is so cool beach in Ontario!
Looks like the perfect beach vacation - not too crowded, shops are near and those incredible falls! I want to go!
Oh Canada is one of my Favorite country.. but i missed out on Ontario.. will save this for next time i'm there. Keep exploring :)
All the more reason to come back!
I love that beach in the beginning of the video, it looks amazing! And that waterfall, I'm in love!
Gosh, that beach looks absolutely incredible!! What a place to spend a day!

LOL I know all about those high school Wasaga visits :)
I can see why you love going back to Sauble Beach! It's gorgeous. Never knew you could find beaches like this near Toronto.
Sauble Beach looks beautiful and the town looks fun too! I would have never guessed this was in Ontario or freshwater! Looks like an ocean!
Freshwater beach!! interesting> i don't think I have heard about it before. I definitely can spend a whole day there too.
I've never heard of Sauble Beach but what a beautiful place. Great shots of you and the family.
this place looks sooo amazing
It looks so pretty!
I love that opening shot. The beach looks so inviting. I'd never have guessed Ontario has such a beautiful beach. Love the commentary.
Such a beautiful beach! The sand and water are pristine.

Looks so incredible there! The sand at the water is so dreamy!
Great views! I haven't been in a while, so we'll have to go some time soon.

Angela Tehaha it takes us 2 hours
Do we ned to pay or get a entrance fee to the park to get into the grotto?
I guess I never thought of Canada as a beach destination! But this looks like a relaxing place to play.
Love the beaches, fun to hang around with friends and family. What kind of material do you use to film?
It's always better with friends and family! We use a combination of DJI Phantom Drones, GoPros and Canon DSLRs

That beach looks fantastic. I had no idea that Ontario had beaches like that. Sweet!
Ontario has some of the best beaches in Canada and some of the best freshwater beaches in the world !
I don't think I've ever visited a freshwater beach before. What is the temperature of the water? The falls look fun too.
During the summer, late June to early September) the water is nice and refreshing. Plus, no salty taste in your mouth :)

What a great little town! Reminds me of the Hamptons, the place where I like to unwind is Aoraki Mt Cook National Park in New Zealand.
Great vid and use of Drone and well edited.
Thanks so much! 🙏
There's so much to do, but the best thing to do may be to do nothing and just relax. It's just so lovely.
Sauble falls for the win. Spent tons of time there when I was a kid. Not really for small children, though.
I love Sauble Falls for small kids. The small pools make for a great play area when the water isn't too high.

@@twizz420 Absolutely. You should always stay with kids whenever you're near any body of water.
Holy smoke, I had no idea Ontario was like this, after living in BC I was brainwashed into thinking Ontario didn't have beaches :-)

WE HAVE GOT MANY BEACHES
Congrats on 666 subs
Thanks! Movin' up!
I live like 40 minutes away from suable I just went there

going to there lol
I have a trailer in Sable beach
I live here it’s never this empty its wall to wall tourists/city people
It can definitely get busy. But compared to places like Wasaga that are closer to Toronto, it's paradise.
Great video! I just got back from sable and made a video of my trip! Check it out if you have time i think you'll like it!
Great video. I love the reto feel of it!
sauble beach sucks now its like a infestation on weekends and long weekends I feel bad for anyone with a place up there
It can get busy on the weekends, especially long weekends. We love to visit in the shoulder season before the crowds arrive.
