They are essential and I will be buying more to complete the full set!! I've got 1 more set to buy for the rear, and another for the front, and then I'll be good to go.
hi milanmastracci just one tip for you in the future for repairing cars so that if you get bind up in the spot were you can't get to the nut to on doing it just if you have welder by you're side just tack the nut on the part with couple tack's and than you don't get headache to take out
will you re built the MINI engine (simply remove the head & clean everything up plus inspect everything & replace the broken/weak components) the cylinders will also be ecposed so, you can inspect them too

Ben MacKay they do different things. this guy does generally more cosmetic mods and some performance mods like this and chrisfix does more maintenance things.
Melody ehhh they both make videos showing how to work on a car yourself with very similar formats. But nothing is wrong with that.. everyone is making TH-cam into some huge competition when these guys are just filming what they love to do and sharing it with us. My point is that we should let them keep putting out the great videos and keep away from any drama just because they are similar.

Can you do more detailing videos? It was the reason I subscribed.
Question....I have a 2013 Honda accord, I'm installing 20x8.5 wheels all the way around and also coilovers, Do I really need adjustable links on the rear?? Front??
it does have to partially to do with how low you lower your car. never needed these on my MkIII Supra and my alignment was good. but I never went super low. didn't like how it looked on my own car.
Milan, I learned cool stuff in this video! It also gives another video topic: rust removal and undercarriage rust protection tutorial. Instead of investing in mods, it's better to do vital maintenance IMO :)
Okay thanks. So you tried doing the rear but had to undo it somehow, or? Why wont you do it again though if i may ask? Did you do a video on it? If not, would you in the future?
It can be, but that second nut doesn't serve any purpose, as you would just need the 1 nut to lock up to the centre of the control arm to keep it from spinning and have the length locked in place. You also have 2 jam nuts, one on one side, and one on the other.
milanmastracci I don't know. I have a similar locking mechanism on my fishing rod with two nuts, but I don't know why one side would need it more than the other.
Caylan Huang just get a Milwaukee 1/2 high torque impact gun and battery on offer up for less than $200, much easier then buying an air impact, thick hose, and compressor.
These are car specific as the length of the arms and sizes of the bushings has to be a certain length, but I will bet you can find something for your specific car.
I sure hope so man. I have a big project with a 2001 Montero Sport for drifting......but all there is available are lift kits....everything is based on lifting the vehicle instead of lowering LOL
Hey milan quick question i just lowered my car on coils and its pretty slammed my other cars rack and pinion started leaking bad which cost me $1000 how can I prevent that from happening again
The rack started leaking after being lowered is because the way the rack was resting on the seals have changed from what they were worn into. Depending on the age of your car the rack has been moving in the same position for 10+ years. After lowering the car you have disturbed its usual position which can cause leaks.
Matt Covey oh damn did not know that... I thought it was caused by all the scrapes, so in conclusion how can I prevent from this happening again? Do i drive carefully and not scrape or buy a skid plate or something please help!!
Well if the car will remain lowered for the rest of you having it and you put a new rack in it then the problem is solved. After a while now "low" is the new norm for the new rack. If you were to raise the car back up 5-10 years down the road you may see the same issue.
That's because of the solid axle in those things. I helped a buddy with an 07 V6 install some lowering springs and a new pan hard bar. Wasn't too hard of a DIY
Milan, do something with audio, I know that this channel don't put music in middle of work, or as a background, but really this time I could even hear silence (that crackle like old Tv 's). Still quiet misses something. But well explainatory
milanmastracci Use Fortune auto coils. New, but very good brand. Coils assembled by hand and you will get a sertificate buy a pwrson who assembled this. I thing worth it!
Yep!! The company that makes the control arms used to be called ISIS, they recently changed their name to ISR because of people having problems when dealing with borders/customs.
They are essential and I will be buying more to complete the full set!! I've got 1 more set to buy for the rear, and another for the front, and then I'll be good to go.
Do you think that's something I'd do? ;)

who's better? Milanmastracci or Chrisfix
I'm going to be slightly biased here ahah
He goes to something fast, but he does give clear explanation, and also you to. But keep it up man!
AUDI R8 they both do a great job. No need to compare either, when you can just enjoy double the content :)

Is this replacing a factory part or something additional like a strut tower brace that most cars do not have from the factory?
I think it was one of your videos where you had a warning sticker for aftermarket suspension under your hood? Where did you get it?
You have a great channel. I'm glad I found it.
What a great tutorial video about control arms and awesome instruction before and after place in ur car a coilover suspension...

Thank you kid, I learned new things. Also straight to the point.
Keep it up!
Thanks buddy!! :)
Milan you need some rotary love, we all need some rotary love!
can you do a video on how to paint the flares on your mini to the body colour for people who dont have any experience with automotive painting?
I'd love to :)
Have you ever rolled your arches? I would like to see how its done and whats the outcome (before and after). Maybe you can roll your 240sx arches?
I've done the arches on my Accord. The fronts were pretty easy, the rears I won't do again
Okay thanks. So you tried doing the rear but had to undo it somehow, or? Why wont you do it again though if i may ask? Did you do a video on it? If not, would you in the future?
why dident u spray ur sub frame?
buys and installs arms, then buys and installs brand new arms. great logic.
"what ever you want to call it ISR or Isis" 11:09 lol
Simply Tuned same company, but they changed their name
Any update of the raffle for the accord coupe?
glad to know for future reference for my Supra save my comp 2s
#golf&240 videos, keep it classic. keep up the good work bro
You should really get some of the quick jack stuff milan ;D
Please more Golf videos bro... Greetings from Mexico :)
nice music upgrade too😁
Thanks man :)
Isn't the other bolt you took off the control arm made to lock the 2 bolts together?
It can be, but that second nut doesn't serve any purpose, as you would just need the 1 nut to lock up to the centre of the control arm to keep it from spinning and have the length locked in place. You also have 2 jam nuts, one on one side, and one on the other.
Pretty sure it's there to secure the nut on the inside to not loosen over time from vibrations and such.
If that was true, why aren't there 2 on each of the control arms. I've never seen 2 jam nuts together before
milanmastracci I don't know. I have a similar locking mechanism on my fishing rod with two nuts, but I don't know why one side would need it more than the other.
milanmastracci couldn't hurt, but as long as it's ok to not use the second but.
@milanmastracci can you make a video of what kind of air tools and tank you use?
Caylan Huang just get a Milwaukee 1/2 high torque impact gun and battery on offer up for less than $200, much easier then buying an air impact, thick hose, and compressor.
how to install xkglow lights
Hows the Mini looking ?
She's getting there!! I'm working on it now
I have an 08 Acura TL base do they sell this kit for my vehicle
Yee
love ur videos
Thanks buddy!! :)
Are those universal or car specific?
These are car specific as the length of the arms and sizes of the bushings has to be a certain length, but I will bet you can find something for your specific car.
I sure hope so man. I have a big project with a 2001 Montero Sport for drifting......but all there is available are lift kits....everything is based on lifting the vehicle instead of lowering LOL
Drifting a Montero, huh? Fascinating.
yeah. i thought i would do something different. A 6G75 turbo swap and i'm on my way. Puerto Rico style.
That's awesome. If you upload any videos, i'm down to watch em.
Hell yeah brother
Hey milan quick question i just lowered my car on coils and its pretty slammed my other cars rack and pinion started leaking bad which cost me $1000 how can I prevent that from happening again
See if you can get some steering rack spacers to raise it up, and then if you can as well, flip your tie rod ends upside down
milanmastracci alright cool, but do you know why it may have started to leak bad? Maybe from scraping alot?
The rack started leaking after being lowered is because the way the rack was resting on the seals have changed from what they were worn into. Thought you were keeping this stock? It's such a clean Kouki too :(
Doing simple mods that I can undo. I'll be keeping the mint condition stock arms to throw back in later.
milanmastracci ah okay :)
clean? only exterior wise. did you see the rust in the rear chassis
all I needed for lowering my mustang was a panhard par
That's because of the solid axle in those things. I helped a buddy with an 07 V6 install some lowering springs and a new pan hard bar. Wasn't too hard of a DIY
milanmastracci yeah its so much easier
3:54 DEEZ NUT
You got alot of rust and corrosion on alot of parts under the car. Will we see video of you cleaning all that up and such?
100% you will :)
shared n liked ur video
Milan, do something with audio, I know that this channel don't put music in middle of work, or as a background, but really this time I could even hear silence (that crackle like old Tv 's). Still quiet misses something. But well explainatory
You'd prefer some music in the video's?
milanmastracci something like the music in the outro :)
Milan, please keep your videos audio free. There's no need for it.
I like your videos without music
Gedas alekveravičius I'm not here for music. Go check VEVO or something.
Put some new rims on and get a body kit already
bye stock 240 ):
Did you bought coilovers?
Not yet, but I will be soon!!
milanmastracci Use Fortune auto coils. New, but very good brand. Coils assembled by hand and you will get a sertificate buy a pwrson who assembled this. I thing worth it!
I'll look into it :)
