Being able to express the truth entails becoming your essence. Being fully conscious of your thoughts, words, and actions eventually leads to synchronization with the universe. Painting has become an act of unification for me with the world, allowing me to better understand both the world and myself. A painting is a kind of magical mirror through which eternal truths can be revealed; the less trace the painter leaves of her own personality on the mirror, the more the universal will be revealed.
