Unfortunately you cannot "walk" outside like in the Garage. I use the developer "Flycam" at an angle and speed to simulate "walking". You can activate the flycam by some changes to some ini files in the gamedata. There are lots of tutorial Videos. Just search for "Flycam ETS2" You can use it to freely fly around in the world with slow or supersonic speed an even for teleporing your Truck somewhere else.

How can you walk outside the truck?
