I think the hunt for loot drops, especially in caves, and the disappointment that comes with it when there's nothing but rubbish inside, is what makes ARK so special. That's not meant to be a criticism, just my personal opinion. By the way, I also use the upgrade station. But I'll miss the loot somehow. In any case, you now have a nice pair of safety shoes😅
It would be different if I didn't spend so many hours and not finding things I need. I really like doing drop runs but we will see how this goes. At least for now I don't have to worry about my feet breaking 😄
Man this is going to be awesome putting your own spin on drops and upgrades excited to see where it goes feel like this opens up more doors for upgrades and utility of things. Awesome video thanks man !
Awesome twist to the series! I wish this is how vanilla ark was or if it was a game mode you could toggle in like single player. I tried to do the INI edits for blueprint crafting in CS & it kept resetting my Bob’s DLC. I’m new to ark (couple months on the game) so upgrade station is a great alternative. Loving the videos
It for sure changes things up but I really like the idea of crafting and upgrading your stuff instead of just finding it all already upgraded in drops. Hope you are enjoying ARK! 😁
Great tutorial dude. I was kinda confused what the augments were all about but now I get it. I installed the mod a couple days ago looking forward to messing with it soon.
@@BemoGuinness well for harvesting hide there’s one that’s my favorite as it’s the most beautiful beast in the game, the shame is it’s not the best anymore
I realize, when asking about this, that you're on PC. I'm not sure settings can be adjusted on a SeriesX. Still, will be fun to play with it. I've only made it as far as you putting the flak in the augment box, but you're explaining things just fine.
I'm curious as to why you don't like resources returned when you make the items into blueprints, considering that you use all those resources in upgrading them, and still have to re-craft them after making the blueprints.
Because to me it's like a one to one exchange. You are taking an item and exchanging it for an infinite reusable version of that item. Losing those resources you used making it is like the cost to do it. That's kind of how I see it 🙂
I have DM's off due to constant Twitter bot spam so will have to @ me however, I talk about in next video that I found out the issues with Troll & Nameless spawning

It's a pretty neat mod. Glad I didn't make it sound too confusing
Interesting idea you got going here. I kinda like it!
Will see how it goes 😁
I like it definitely changes the game play
😁
That is an interesting way of playing Ark… it gives a reason to do resource runs 😅
My inner Loot Goblin is grumbling about it though 😂🤣😂
Haha yea same
Dude, flak is usually crazy expensive to craft, especially ascendant. That is awesome.
I mean this will be too but it's mainly because right now the durability is a bit low
Oh, i know, but the fact you can adjust the duro down is amazing. @@BemoGuinness
You need sheep to make a chainsaw? That’s a first 😂😂😂🤔😉
There are more steps than just a chainsaw

Yea I don't think the ini edits can be made on console however it is still fully functionable. The ini edits only make it cost a ton more per item
