I just somehow stumbled on your channel, and you have no idea how happy the three videos about Spain made me. I am out of the homeland right now (work.. T_T) and there is nothing i miss more than La Rioja, hi neighbor! Which is where i am from and if you didn't guess, Bilbao, Vitoria-Gasteiz and San Sebastian are very close to my heart (naming big cities even tho i am more of a Rivabellosa in the middle of the mountains type of gal) It felt like being with my own family and friends again. Ps. Please, please i beg, can Txema share his cheesecake recipe? There is a small local corner bakery back in my city which makes the most delicious Basque cheesecake i have ever had (to be honest, i never knew there was any other kind of cheesecake until i tried NY style cheesecake.... disappointment is all i managed to feel because i was expecting creamy deliciousness and got hit by dry desert) But the owner refuses to tell me the recipe unless i go back home to take over the bakery and i have been begging for the last 20 years or so, but all i get is a whole cheesecake every time i visit.
Thank you for this detailed comment. It made me very happy. So... I asked Txema and I have the RECIPE! He wrote it in Spanish ofc (in paper haha) and I will pass it to you directly.
