I would prefer to use a router and hook it to a network switch and the from the network switch hook up the computer and also hook up the PLC to the network switch
thank you for your video. I am using Allen Brandley and I have connected all my output and using Ethernet cable but it doesnt connect to my laptop BUT when I connect only 3 outputs It does connect to my laptop. I can not fine the error. Would you be able to help me pls.

I will look into those lectures! thank you very much. Actually, Do you have any physical simulators? Also input values are going to be 100.01 which would be translated as channel 100 and bit 1. Basically its Word 100 and bit input 1. Outputs are going to be 1.06 which would be again channel 1 and output bit 6. I'm actually helping someone to finish up there Omron CP1L-EM setup. Is it possible to connect PLC to other microcontroller such as Raspberry pi to make wireless HMI? or need other type of plc?

You speak clearly but a wiring diagram would add clarity to stuff you are pointing at.
