Not only that, but he had the game winning interception! The eagles were coming down the field close to field goal range when he caught it. @BenCarnes
How are so many people definitive in that if SB would've caught that ball, that the game was over. I get it I get it. However, no one knows, for a FACT that that potential catch would've ended the game. I have my own spin on the play. SB catches the ball, fumbles it during the tackle, and the fumble is returned for a Falcons touchdown. My spin has as much validity as those who say the game was over IF he'd caught the ball. How about this one... what happened happened. We lost last week to Pittsburgh because thats what happened. Not if KC would've did this or the OC would've call that play, etc. We lost because we lost. Period. We won because we won. Period. Whatever happens the rest of the season happens because it happens. Period.
I agree man and i'm a Falcons fan too. Been so damn hard being one since Julio let the winning TD (literally) slip through his fingers and keep Atlanta out of the NFC championship 7 years ago. Lucky down south we don't point fingers, spread bullshit and complain everytime our team loses. Maybe Ga Tech fans......maybe.
A dB was coming fast at him if he caught it. If he hits him and the guy trailing saquan helps with the tackle he's short or the guy trailing punches the ball out
a team that goes for fieldgoal isn't interested in winning......you go for fieldgoals when its all you need to win the game ....... not when there is ample time on the clock and the other team has last possession.... what makes you think the other team can't march down the field and score a touchdown if there in desperate need of a win? eagles should have ran on third and fourth down....they should have been able to close the deal by running the ball on third and fourth down
Cause it changed the outcome of the game. Saquon catches that ball, Falcons get it back with like 40 seconds left vs 1:40. Falcons not getting 2 at the end of the 3rd only becomes a problem if Philly takes their points early in the game when they went for it on 4th and 3 in the 1st. Every play has consequences but you absolutely cannot mess up LATE GAME. My Falcons were given a chance even though the smarter playcall was to run the football. Eagles stopped the clock tryna get to cute at the end.
Tony is dead wrong about it being the right call, he’s an English major, I get it. Risk-adjusted return, doesn’t matter if it’s a perfect play, have to factor a potential drop into the play call. A failure on a running play would still result in the clock running.
How the hell are the Mets a topic everyday? This is fake news. Dodgers almost every day and now freaking Mets I hope and pray the Philkies can sweep them and clinch on their Mets home😂😂
You have to give Atlanta's defense their props. The Eagles have a kicker with a big leg. And they were able to rally and get the stop needed.
They looked solid the whole game. Jessie Bates, in particular, was a standout.

Aye!! The boys are back!

Cousins has tied Joe Montana for Touchdowns on the All time list...
Dang when he starts talking about fields is voice level went way up.
Better job editing the show to include the start and all the segments.
If you look at that Saquon Barkley play, even if he would’ve caught it he wasn’t getting the first he was taken down right there by those two players
Can Saturday come play center this week for my Bears?
“He doesn’t get billing”…….that’s great

They talk about the one play by Saquon, but what about the third quarter when the Falcons could've should've extended a five point lead.
