to deal with sound issue turn on Mono Audio. very simple on windows 10 and android. Not sure about windows 7 also to increase volume: control panel->sound->Playback tab->speakers->properties->Enhancement tab->scroll and tick loundness equalizer. ( available if laptop is using realtek driver)
I owe this course my v.g degree in image processing. The lecturer is awesome and even after ~13y I still remember this course! Thanks a lot for sharing
I have seen whole course, and Mr. Biswas is very good teacher. But the lack of examples and pictures brings this course rather to theoretical plane. Its a pity no more pictures and aplications were shown, it isn't course for absolute beginners with no previous experience with image processing, howerver very clean presentation of basic concepts. Enjoy :)
NOTE Please activate mono audio if you're experiencing difficulty hearing the voice clearly through headphones. The audio is only in the right channel, so there may be no sound in the left earphone. It took me a few minutes to grasp the problem.

At 51:32, the intensity is represented by values around 180-190. While before, prof said that the intensity values would be in the range [0,1]. I'm confused.
I have a project which the instructor wants us to linear transform, logarithmic transformation and generate PDF and CDF of our portrait. I really dont know which program to use and what to do. plz some1 help
Such a bad lecturer he is !He is continuously seeing on the screen and just reading the content .No expression no eye contact with camera. How u get recruited by IIT ?
Having a good profile doesn't mean being a good lecturer. So if you're teaching something then you should be good in expressing your knowledge rather having a good profile..
He is bit of nerd who is shy enough to not see in the camera but that doesn't mean he is bad professor. He may be more comfortable teaching real students rather than blank camera. You should judge him with his teaching. And also may be to avoid camera, he is looking more into the screen. Try to learn what he is teaching rather than judging him.
nice lecture.and to those who say he is not making eye contact...he is not an actor or a anchor who knows very well how to face camera.

Great! thank you for posting the series on image processing!
Being Fan of Prof P.K. Biswas
timeless lectures, bravo!

because int values goes to 0-255 and if you add +1 at end then entire values becomes black (256) so its always good to have image in 0-1 range
i feel bad that i didnt find this channel before.
AWESOME AWESOME. Loved the lecture
Yep

You should probably check his profile and compare it with your professor's.

He taught so good, you better concentrate on content rather than judging such a good professor like that!
