8:26 What is that strange sound what you also hear on the ground if the new Airbus NEO's and now A220's fly over you hear a strange sound coming from I guess the engines? If they go from Idle to some little more thrust it sounds strange. I can't compare it. This is not that A320CEO Sound with that open holes under the wings that if a plane is coming to you, you hear a kind of whistling noise. But this isn't the wings.

      I think the PTU

@Denise457-77 I think the PTU is the slightly annoying whining sound. And I think people on the ground will probably not hear the PTU because it must be extreme loud for a system that is within the plane. So it has something to do with the engines when they fly over and go from Idle to spooling up where you hear it. You can also hear on the landing when they reverse thrust. So don't know what happens in the engine that produces the sound.

That is the sound of the hydraulic system. That is kept at pressure continuously.

PTU (Power Transfer Unit). It transfers hydraulic power from one hydraulic system to another.

I don't know exactly what the captain meant with the reason to do this go-around.

‘Operational reasons’ so that could be anything😅
