I could understand the Chinese and Russians being in the Old West but a Pakistani in the West. C'mon I understand the subversion idea but totally extending beyond belief is a problem for me. I've studied the West and I have never seen, read, heard of a Pakistani being there. The main problem with Hollywood is the idea of promoting some people for the sake of artistry at the expense of people who have been ignored or dismissed for a lot longer. What about the people that could have played that role whose people were actually there in the West. A person with Chinese, Russian, German, Mexican, Italian ancestry.
I don't believe I'll ever watch this movie because the inconsistency of the cast and how it doesn't jive with my historical understanding of that time!!!! What's next have Christian Bale play Martin Luther King Jr. for the sake of artistic interpretation?!?!
