This ballad holds such an extreme meaningful story within the lyrics and the only fault I find with it is how under appreciated this song and the artist herself (Daughter) is. Not only is her originality aspiring but she personifies a realism into her song and personifies two opposite emotions (in this case depressed and joyousness) almost as if they were two people walking hand in hand. Her language in this ballad is recognisable because of the music industries current flow of meaningless songs and I think Daughter should be proud she fuels people's more creative sides revolving music to aspire to create meaningful songs with moral, understanding and soul. Daughters music is a story worth telling.
