I had come home all excited about how we'd collectively lifted my friend's rather large mom and my dad went nuts. He showed me this book about demons that had a picture of how that trick supposedly worked, and scared the shit out of me that we had all summons demons into our body to help us lift people. Also... my dad has a bachelor's degree in science. SMH.
We called this game “She Looks Pale.” We played it at pajama parties when we were kids. One person would be laying down and the others (usually 4 people) would put two fingers under the person at certain areas (like on either side of their chest and legs). We’d say this chant with one person leading and the others repeating: “She looks pale.” (Others repeat) “She is pale” (Others repeat) “She looks sick” (Others repeat) “She is sick” (Others repeat) “She looks dead” (Others repeat) “She is dead” (Others repeat) Altogether we’d say: “As light as a feather. As stiff as a board. Ready…. Lift.”
i remember doing this in my teens, freaked me out... we lift up the fat kid in the center without feeling any weight at all... till we can't believe our eyes we all lost concentration and he started getting heavy and we dropped him , and he was actually above our heads when we dropped him
I'm 66 yrs old and remember doing it with 3 others plus a fat kid laying down and had the same results and to this day still don't know how we did it......I don't remember any chanting like you see now days. Strange indeed!
