I like to think death stranding, the crew in size of world for vehicles, shadow of mordor for troops, allies, supplies, etc, almost like a first person open world non rts halo wars type of game. Probably too complex or too many issues with that, but hey, if it could be done right...I'd want it.

the 'halo' in the games are only really a set piece. What dah500 seems to be referring to is the level of suspense and drama when it comes to the action, a combination that is almost completely lacking from the current development team, of whom have instead focused on creating a cod-esque multiplayer experience with an increasingly subpar singleplayer that lacks any tension or degree of conflict. Why? Well... the antagonists didn't pop up out of nowhere. There was a buildup, and they were logical in their placement in the world. With 343, things just happen for no reason. There is no logical explenation as to why Cortana hasn't just jumped into the magic forerunner realm of knowledge prior to this point, particularly since she can copy herself at will. Previous 343 antagonists and enemies have been delegated to pathetic deaths off screen or in cutscenes, and ultimately things have devolved into a 'show rather than tell' as opposed to the videogame ideal of 'experience rather than show.' Showing rather than telling would be good if halo were a movie, but the thing is that it's not. It's a videogame. 343 doesn't know what they're doing, and they make it obvious. In bungie's halo, if master chief were to lose, humanity would be scoured from the face of the universe. In 343 halo, if the master chief lost, you'd have a spooky cortana clone flying around with floaty space owls trying to spread 'piece, love and equality.' The magic school bus, also known as 'the infinity' in this reality would just continue to float about the universe with cortana's rape owls following closely behind.
RedMatter While I still enjoyed Halo 4’s campaign and halo 5’s multiplayer, this seemed to capture the atmosphere of what made halo great. Driving around in a warthog fighting off covenant with marines clinging to you for their own survival. While there’s no fighting in this obviously it still was suspenseful and the dialogue from the marines and what sounded like an impersonation of Foehammer piloting the pelican immersed me like the older halos did. Halo 4’s story was great but it was just lacking the marines aspect and halo 5’s campaign lacked everything tbh. I have faith in 343 that they can make the best halo game ever but it must be taxing on them that we as a community just shit on them and when they do something good we say it should have been there already ( which is true but imagine if you’re a developer reading that). Here’s hoping to a better Halo.

All in all I have almost completely lost faith in them as a development team when it comes to making gameplay implementations and story development - it reeks to shit of corporate management, with their incessant need to creep to appeal toward the CoD crowd, rather than continuing to innovate and develop their own style of gunplay that had already been developed by the previous halos. I'd lost faith in 343 when it comes to story telling, because of the fact that they are happy to just cast aside key moments in the story continuity into comics and books that barely even a percentage of the community has ever read, an example being the didact inexplicitly surviving the end of halo 4, only for them to truly die some time later.

Doubt, fps games is harder to give those quality of graphics because it needs to render much more objects and heavier geometry however when it comes to racing games it mostly goes fast and not that many objects to render except the landscape and such.
I'm pretty sure the Halo Infinite E3 trailer was just an engine demonstration to show what the new engine was capable of doing, not actual gameplay footage reflecting its actual graphics.
If the game is going to look anything like that tech-demo trailer. then I would argue Halo Infinite will look as good if not better. We shall just have to wait for actual gameplay though. Also big question mark is going to be is Halo Infinite going to be "cross-gen" game released both this gen consoles and next gen Xbox or just for Xbox One S and X....if its going to be former, then I think its entirely possible to have really huge graphical/visual leap over Halo 5 Guardians, atleast on next-gen Xbox consoles.
@@_MaZTeR_ yeah but look at e3 trailers and then the final product, no way infinite will be having all those particle details and lightning effects, if it does it will still be cranked down a bit to maintain 60FPS to accomodate smoother combat and better gameplay, the reason it looks better in the e3 tailers is because the parts shown are optimised and made to look great and run smooth on ultra graphics but once those places are crowded with covenants HUD gunmodel and all other gameplay elements it has to be more optimised to fit the extra stuff so graphics till be tuned down a little bit.

I'm pretty sure the Halo Infinite E3 trailer was just an engine demonstration to show what the new engine was capable of doing, not actual gameplay footage reflecting its actual graphics.
If the game is going to look anything like that tech-demo trailer. then I would argue Halo Infinite will look as good if not better. We shall just have to wait for actual gameplay though. Also big question mark is going to be is Halo Infinite going to be "cross-gen" game released both this gen consoles and next gen Xbox or just for Xbox One S and X....if its going to be former, then I think its entirely possible to have really huge graphical/visual leap over Halo 5 Guardians, atleast on next-gen Xbox consoles.
@@_MaZTeR_ yeah but look at e3 trailers and then the final product, no way infinite will be having all those particle details and lightning effects, if it does it will still be cranked down a bit to maintain 60FPS to accomodate smoother combat and better gameplay, the reason it looks better in the e3 tailers is because the parts shown are optimised and made to look great and run smooth on ultra graphics but once those places are crowded with covenants HUD gunmodel and all other gameplay elements it has to be more optimised to fit the extra stuff so graphics till be tuned down a little bit.

Cortana saying “keep your head down, there is two of us in here now” is a reference to Halo CE and few people nowadays would get that reference, but those who do get it are rewarded. It’s a win win

It's straight up a normal track with Halo props scattered throughout with a cortana voiceover that pretends to not know what 21st century houses are.
Anyone could have put this together given enough time, with the same exact nostalgia voice lines.

BurningSnoMan although, they are from the future so of course they aren’t going to know what 21st century houses look like + it’s just a joke. “Anyone could have put this together” is a bit strong too, there was lots of environmental changes happening in the background, as well as the props were really detailed - it definitely took a good amount of effort

I never played Forza, but damn, that is a some high effort DLC. They could easily just add the jeep and call it a day, but they also made Chief, lore, dropship, banshees, halo ring on skybox, even hired voice the same actors! That is commendable!
