You need a memory card called Pocketstation. In the main menu you can send data of megaman and robot masters to it and you will be able to play mini games and VS battle inside the memory card, because it has a small screen and buttons to play with, it's like the Dreamcast VMU memory card. It requires 13 blocks of memory to save this into the Pocketstation, and the memory card has a limit of 15 blocks (128 kiloBytes). You can increase Health to a total 80 (default 28). Each PS1 game has a different mini game as well. If you have the PS Vita console, you can also download the 6 rockman PS1 games and Pocketstation app to it as well.

How do you activate helmetless megaman tho
In the main menu, hover the cursor over ナビモード (Navi Mode, 2nd option), hold the R2 button pressed while you press Circle or Start button.
