Running Our Panteras - Carrera Digital 132 Slot Cars

- Trying out or Carrera Digital 132 Pantera slot cars for the first time. We bought these late in 2021 with the intent of reviewing them right away. However, it was more than a year before we actually took them out of the box and starting filming a video, but never finished the editing and didn’t release it. A year after that, we finally got around to finishing the video and realized there was footage missing which had to be re-filmed.
While they don’t stick to the track quite as well as some other cars such as the GT3 class and DTM class, they make up for it with their quickness, getting up to speed very fast so overall, their overall lap times are close to the fastest cars we have in our fleet.

Those are fast as heck but of course great drivers to and a good fast layout as well nice
Hi over there, I got the red No.14, too. I first had my doubts to buy it, but when Carrera lowered the price for it over here, I gave it a shot. My first impression was, that those smal front tires might slip off in the curves, because they only fitted real loose on the rims. Plus they are really thin. But I was wrong. They stayed on the rims and after truing the tires in the back, that Pantera runs even faster, than without trued tires. I go confirm with you, that it is a quick car, but not as fast as other ones I got from Carrera. But sure really close to them. It is a fun car to drive and those wide back-tires are giving it a lot of grip. Thanx for releasing this clip, even if it took a while to do so, because there aren`t many, that have this Pantera on the air. Greetings from Northern Germany :-)

I just got the green Panther Brau version and it is nice. One concern is the tires seem to be only 1mm thick in the rib section... not a lot there for tuning! My front tires did slip off a bit in the first 50 laps, so watch for that. Started de-slotting due to lose front tires.

@@dhgmllcshea5038 I`ll get the Panter Bräu next month. It is on sale very cheap over here at one slotcar shop because it will run out on the Carrera list and I can`t resist. I got to have it as a racing partner. By the way, there is no Panter Brewery here in Germany. A fictional name if you will. It was invented by Carrera for some reason, but I like the livery. In terms of the wheels, like I metioned, they are too thin, but there is a lot of space in the wheel house, so another tire with a bigger diameter could do the job for the front tires, I believe. Tschüss, as we say for another word of good bye in the North. Keep the guide in the slot and I am looking forward for your next content. Always a pleasure. Grretings to the Motor City. I just had the red No. 14 in my cart a week ago. Those are some damn respectable numbers on that track.

"Spatula'd off the track"😅 been there, done that. Maybe a goalpost at the end of one straightaway would add a 3rd dimension. Field goals take that heat no matter what... like the Golden Snitch in Quidditch.

I picked up the same two. They look better in person than the pictures. I don't think any other brand has made a Pantera. They are fun to drive. And there are deals on them also. $21 without the box I paid.

I forgot how to change the brightness of the Startlight top red 'Carrera' light. I have read it somewhere and changed the brightness before but cannot find how to in the Startlight instructions or the other manuals. I know you can do it but just ol' plain forgot - PLEASE remind me....? Great videos as usual!!!
Sorry, I'm not familiar with the startlight. I downloaded the manual for it, and also for the CU and nothing is mentioned in either about changing the brightness of the lights.
Great video as always! I just purchased the Carrera Peak Performance 30027 set and would like to add a left switch back on the back straight before entering the right hander onto the front straight. Any suggestions greaty appreciated. Love your vids wish you did more.
That set already has a right-to-left lane changer on the back stretch, correct? Unless, I'm misunderstanding your question.
I should also mention I am adding 4 std straights to each of the front and back straight (8 in total) to allow adding a pit lane with 1 extension on the front straight. Thank you.@johnniehobby
Hi, I'm thinking about purchasing a Carrera Evolution set. Can you race the Sideways branded cars on the Carrera set?
Yes. Analog cars from other manufacturers can run on other brands of analog tracks. Sometimes changing the guide blade is necessary depending on the depth of the slot of the track, however.
Hi . Take an x switch. Put 2 turns facing opposite on to one end pulling only 1 track only onto each turn... now "THINK"
