Don’t be hard on yourself hun! These designs are real good and the silhouette for both of em are unique, they stand out when next to each other and look like they can be in the same world at the same time. I think they both real cute💜 Also for ruffles (chains and necklaces as well) there’s always brushes for them to save time just saying, just saying-
Love the designs! But maybe getting rid of the pink and light blue accents on the socks and adding a little more of Sylveon’s darker blue on the sleeves and skirt could help elevate the design :)
OMGGG I LOVE YOUR ART!!! idk if this helps but maybe for the sylveon girly you could do like a long ponytail to kind of show the tail or the ears and it could maybe change up the silhouette, cuz the tail and the ears are pretty recognisable for me! idk if this helps and i think your art tastes like cookies with ice cream :)

I grew up with the eeveelutions, and in second grade I even had a group with all of my friends who roleplayed as their favorite eevee, or the ones I assigned to them. It played a hugeeee role on me in grade school. Usually I could get really really harsh on how a human design or redesign could look since they were so special to me, but I fell in loveee with vaporeon! If you continue with this, I hope you can do glaceon or leafeon next! I loved those two as a kid, and saw them as sisters (mainly because of the eeveelution squad comics, I recommend watching the voiceovers here on yt because that’s the thing that really made me into it.)

I think the problem you were having with sylveyon might've been where her weight was shifted? on your little thumnail i think she was leaning a bit more to the side which might've been why??? i not sure either BUT I LOVES YOUR DESIGNS the way you incorporated the patterns of the Pokémon and they're own like vibes was so well done!!
The sylvion design is really good and very cute!!!! I think if I were to make a character based off her, I would use a ballerina inspo for her! I think it would give off the cute and sweet vibe and also give her a nice shape :D

I think sylveon looks amazing! It might be that part of the issue was that you didn’t use the darker blue anywhere on the design. But I love her so much, she gives me cute waitress from a diner vibes ❤
These designs were- Amaze!ING! I Never Knew What Personality hit Vaperon the best but I think you hit it right on the dot. For Slyveon (I such at spelling so apologies if the name is incorrect) I feel like nothing could really be fixed her over all design was awsome, maybe it would help if you redesigned the skirt to look more like her tail? Over all though these were great, really, I loved watching be designed and the results of them.
For Sylveon I think you could try do a "coquette" design! (If you want to do something more like her shapes) since she is "slim" but have a lot of bows! I really liked your design tho, and you said you aren't good doing shoes, but GIIRRRRL, you ate it up!
