I'm so grateful for this podcast. Nothing has been right since covid and lockdowns etc and we are still struggling with all this sadness in the world. You guys make me smile and laugh and feel a big virtual hug when I listen and let's me know people still care about each other. ❤😊

Matt- my husband had a similar experience. We lived in Frederick MD. I was at work- my husband was at home. He told me that he heard a door open - he thought I had returned home- he called out - got no response- so he started checking out the house- front and back doors were locked-he opened the door that led to the basement and said he heard what sounded like someone slowly walking (“bootsteps”) and heard whistling the tune “Dixie (I Wish I Was in Dixie)” After sharing his experiences with our neighbors we were told that our neighborhood was developed on an old Civil War battlefield ground. My husband was freaked out!!
😮THAT STORY FROM MATT! O-M-G!!! What a terrible ordeal to be poisoned and the whole time he's telling it, younger brother is CRACKING UP and older brother seemed so concerned, grossed out and in awe all at the same time... you gotta love the dynamic with the brothers!! 😄😄😄 I'm so glad you survived that crazy day Matt, and sorry you had that type of treatment. That story really seems like a scene from a freaky movie, I bet you felt like you were in the frikken TWILIGHT ZONE! Thanks for sharing & God bless yall!
Matt. This is for you. For years before my dad died we made a deal that if one of us died we would put a glass on a counter and if possible move it or something to let the “alive” person know. He died in June and I put the glass out. It took about 8 months and I woke up and the glass was shattered. I took a picture and told my sister. Trust me. Be patient. Time on the other side isn’t the same. He WILL show you!
Matt is such a Good Soul. 😇 His mushroom poisoning story is actually heartbreaking. I'm glad he made it through because it could've been so much worse. That said, I'm a Dark Soul like Andy. 😈👹👻🎃
It was so upsetting to hear what he went through being poisoned . He could have died if he didn't get help.. I can't believe that the fire dept charged him $ 11,000 that is absolutely disgraceful terrible health care system in the US.

Pausing video just to say, YES!! I 100% agree with you guys about how demonic Halloween is today. The shop window displays are so horrific and demonic. What happened to simple foil bat or Jack-o-lantern garlands, witches hats, Frankenstein masks etc? Here in Australia, Halloween trick or treating was non-existent until a few years ago, and now the house and shop displays and costumes are truly horrifying. Love your take, guys! Bring on Christmas instead! ❤️🙌

I've personally experienced many many things. I'm led to share this though... When I was 16 or 17 I kept having a recurring nightmare. Think Nightmare on Elm Street vibe. In the dream I was always on a school bus and the grim reaper would all of a sudden show up outside of the bus and I would usually crawl on top of the bus and lay flat to hide myself and I would wake up, but I always was super scared in the dream and it was so real each time I dreamed it. Fast forward 29 yrs to 5yrs ago in 2018, I had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and was now born again as of September 2017. I had a very vivid dream, in the dream I am walking down a road and all of a sudden I see the grim reaper again, this time though I don't hide, I keep walking toward him. As I get closer and closer, he gets smaller and smaller until I'm right in front of him and he's about 3ft tall. Then I kick him and he goes flying to the left into a field. A woman wearing a red dress on a horse picks him up and they go riding together and I felt great! Even when I woke up I felt great! 😄 I don't have to fear death anymore! Jesus defeated death and we have the victory in Him!
As a mom of 4 and the older I get, the more I don’t like Halloween. I hate seeing the gore/creepy decorations. It also hurts my heart to see these sweet little kids in scary murderer/demonic costumes. I do like making themed, non spooky costumes for our entire family for trick or treating. And then I wake up a decorate for Christmas! ❄️❤️😆

Happy Friday da pod da pod! My 'scary' story: My mom's previous house was haunted. At different times, as i am trying to sleep, i would either feel someone/something sit on my bed, or graze my shoulder. I get up and there is no one there. There were some deaths in the house. Nothing scary, just spooky.
When Joe mentioned Chances Are I got giddy! Chances Are is my all time favorite movie and no one ever seems to know it when I mention it. You made me feel less alone in my movie preferences🥰
Definitely agree that holidays in the northeast are the best! I’m originally from New York then Maryland- the sights(fall foliage), the sounds(walking on the fallen leaves or the calming sound of snow falling in the evening) the smell of fireplaces on a cold night. I am now living in Texas- miss all of the above plus so much more!!

Yea childbirth with no drugs is really really rough. Amazing as soon as the baby is out the pain stops cold. It’s crazy.
