This harana is part of Filipino culture that should not be shelved into oblivion. Thanks for reliving it. It brought back memories when I was a kid. Many of the women folks in the neighborhood gather together in one house listening to the radio while weaving buri hats on Fridays. This was the only transistorized radio in the whole neighborhood. Then at 10:PM the "O Ilaw" starts for the "HARANA" opening spiel. Oh the memories.. makes you feel nostalgic..Thank you guys. You make many hearts happy.
