  • This video shows the whole process of making a DIY CNC. It turned out to be a very versatile tool in the shop and I used it for multiple purposes for building the acoustic guitar (checkout my guitar building video if you're interested: • Building an Acoustic G... ).
You can make it yourself, too. See www.v1engineering.com.

Really nice looking thing man. Does one have to find the non printed things themselves? Or can you order it somewhere? What router do you use?

Thanks so much for watching! Yes you can order the parts from v1engineering.com. I use the DeWalt dw660. Not really a router but the MPCNC forum recommended it.

It has been awhile since you got your MPCNC going. What are its good and bad points for you?

The main benefit is it's very affordable as a beginner CNC. And you get to enjoy and learn along the way. I recently bought a more expensive CNC (shapeoko pro XXL, I have a video for the build process). I got a bigger base, much much easier tool change support, and more ridgit machine so I can use 1/4 cutter to more efficiently cut bigger objects. Hope this helps a bit.

    Cool, can it do aluminum?

I've not done any aluminum but I think it's possible.

The word you where searching for is " assemble ". You didnt make anything... you put an object together that a company made. People do not realize that some of us are attemting to actually " make " something in reality .
