Do we need specific magnet for art or any magnet can work?
I have only had success with the bar magnets. You could possibly also use a cylinder magnet. (But they also have magnets you can use that have shapes in them already. This is just a fun technique)

Why you did a great job! Other people I've seen doing this, theirs don't actually look like a heart it looks more like a smudge 🙃

did you cure it first?
No. You create the design with the gel wet (uncured). After it is magnetized to your liking, then you fully cure.
